Is there an adapter that goes from 7 pole on the camper end to 4 pole on the vehicle end?

There sure is!
To connect your tow vehicle that's equipped with a 4-Way flat to your camper that has a 7-Way connector I recommend using the Hopkins Adapter # 37185. This will plug right into the 4-Way on the vehicle to provide you with a 7-Way at the other end.
If you only need to power the trailer's basic signal lights then you only need to ground the white wire to a clean bare metal surface and the remaining wires you see coming from the adapter (blue, black, and purple) can simply be tied off as they won't be needed. If however the trailer is equipped with electric brakes that need to be powered the blue wire, which is the brake output circuit, would need to be ran to a brake controller inside the tow vehicle.
If this is the case please let me know and I will be happy to recommend some additional parts if needed.
