Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2003 Ford E-350 with Step Bumper
Question:
I have Ford 2003 E-350 but the bumper has a step in the middle. I assume this means it is not a standard bumper although it is a factory bumper and from the looks of it this hitch will not work. Do you know what model would fit?

For your 2003 Ford E-350 with a step bumper, the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 75703 will fit well. I've attached a photo of a step bumper fit to assist. I've also attached a video install of a this hitch to assist with the installation which will be the same with the step bumper.
If you do not yet have trailer wiring, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118344 which will install to a harness in the jack storage compartment of your cargo area or beneath the van near the trailer hitch. You may also be interested in mounting bracket # 18144 and # 18140.
Then for a ball mount I recommend the etrailer kit # 989900 which will come with all the parts you need. I've attached a video to further assist with features and function. I've also attached an article to help you with best fit for each trailer.
