Mounting Location for 7-Way Connector on 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe SE with Curt Trailer Hitch
Question:
Ill be installing the Curt Hitch #C13153 and the ETBC7 Kit on a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe SE. I know that youve got the instructions down Ive done this before, but where are folks mounting the 7-pin receptacle on this vehicle? It was exposed on the 2009 model, but the bumper skirt covers most of the hitch.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13153 referenced in your question, which is confirmed to fit your 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe SE, is indeed pretty hidden behind the rear fascia when installed on the vehicle. With that being said, there should be enough room directly to the left or right of the receiver to mount the 7-Way from # ETBC7 to the hitch cross tube.
The # ETBC7 Wiring Kit includes a mounting bracket for the connector and you can add the Tow Ready # 18140 or long # C57202 for a no-drill application, which will allow you to utilize a hose clamp to secure the bracket to the hitch. I have attached a short video demonstration on this product so you can see exactly how it works.
