Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby, and today we're taking a look at the Putco Molee Panel system for your cab-side, inside your bed of your truck on our 2021 Jeep Gladiator. Now these guys are gonna be excellent to go ahead and start really allowing you to start maximizing your bed space by going ahead and letting you organize some of your smaller accessories that might start flopping around and getting in everybody's way. Gonna become really easy to secure them on here. As you guys can see, we have a host of different holes ready for our attachments to go onto. We have these nice guys here at the top, which I really like, could be really great for some of your smaller items, like I said.
We have these nice little tie-offs here. Now a lot of these products you're seeing are gonna be on the related parts tab of the product page that you're viewing, so that can be a nice way of starting to see how you can get 'em attached on there. Now some of these guys are just from a few of our people here, working here. So that can be kinda up to you guys to start actually securing your own accessories how you want, and of course, you're afforded that by the variety of different holes available to you. Now it is gonna have a nice black powder-coat finish, which is gonna be great.
Now, the one thing with black powder-coat, you wanna be treating it a little nice. It is gonna be up to us to make sure we're not nicking it, destroying it, and damaging it. If you do do a little bit of damage to it though, if you're being a little un-careful with some of your tools, don't worry, it does have a nice aluminum construction underneath so it still will be resistant, even if you start adding just a few blemishes to it. Now keep in mind, you only have about a 200-pound weight capacity when that is evenly distributed across the entire plate on here. And one thing I'll say to that too, it's gonna be great for tying off some of your certain elements, especially if you start using it in tandem with some of the side panels.
One of my buddies, Tom, came in to see, I see a lot of guys taking their big, heavy backpacks, sitting 'em here, taking one corner tie it off here and one corner tie it off there, and that way you make sure it's not flopping around the bed of your truck, which can be great. For tie-offs though, if you do have really big, heavy, bulky items that you're wanting to secure to the bed of your truck, I really wouldn't trust this. Again, it is aluminum, so it does have a little bit of a flex in there, and we could end up damaging it, as well as it's only held on by some of our smaller screws. But what's great is it is a custom fit. Still allowing us to use our tie-down points throughout the bed of our trucks.
So you're not losing that capability, which is gonna be great to go ahead and start securing everything we need. One thing I love about it too, those screws are really easy to get installed and it takes no time to get all of our panels installed. Let's go ahead and see how we can do that together. To begin your installation of your cab Molee Panel, what you're gonna wanna do, go ahead and grab yourself T45 driver. We're actually gonna need to take off our tie-down points here a little bit to actually give us a little bit of room to actually start installing our brackets. So all we need to do, back this guy up a little bit. Now once you've got it backed off enough, you can actually go ahead and take your bracket. Now, we don't need to completely remove the bolt. If you do, that's okay as well. But all you really need to do, go ahead and find yourself enough room between the washer that's in place and your tie-down point, and then start getting this in position. We're gonna be wanting our nut insets here to be set just like that, with the deep end of the well of our bracket going towards our cab. That way we're not interacting with our bed space. But now that that's installed, we can go ahead and start re-securing our bolt here. Try to keep the bracket straight, as it is gonna be what's adhering our Molee Panel to it. And we want that flush with our hole-set of course. But now that we're nice and secure there, it feels solid, we can go ahead and actually grab our Molee Panel. I might suggest just to go ahead and set all of your washers on your included hardware. You will need a T30 driver as well, to go ahead and start getting them secured. But now we just simply wanna take our Molee Panel here and start aligning it to our holes. You guys are gonna find the alignment holes are gonna be right around here, here, here, and here; two of them located right above your brackets. Now we simply wanna take our Molee Panel and start aligning it with all of our brackets and our pre-drilled holes. So we can go ahead and take one of our bolts here, and I'm just gonna try and just start setting these in place to go ahead and start holding my panel up. To do that, I'm just gonna take my one side, begin threading it. Take my other side, and begin threading it. Once you've done that process for all of your bolts, you're nice and installed, and it's time to accessorize. Overall, I really like this system guys. I think it's gonna be a great way of really just getting your accessories off the bed of your truck, getting a lot more organized, and I really just like how it's gonna be really easy for us to customize it to our own needs. And as well, as you guys saw, that installation took no time at all. So it's gonna be really nice that we're not A, taking up too much room in the bed of our truck and just getting it in in no time. Well guys, I think that about does it for our look at the Putco Molee Panel Cab-Side for your bed of your truck here on our 2021 Jeep Gladiator. I'm Bobby, thank you for watching..
