Trailer Wiring Recommendation for 2014 Honda Pilot to Replace Factory Wiring
Question:
I installed this harness on my 2014 Honda pilot after 2 yrs I have a problem with when I connect my trailer the right turn brake light comes on automatically and stays on I know there must be a short in wiring harness and was thinking of buying your tow ready harness would I have to change harness or just substitute the problem part in place of bad part

What you described sounds exactly like a shorted out trailer wiring harness converter. Anytime we see one circuit stay active all the time it's that a short in the trailer wiring took out the converter box.
The Tekonsha part # 118265 that is a confirmed fit for your 2014 Honda Pilot would give you a new trailer wiring setup that would bypass the shorted out box and would work well.
