The only trailer hitch receiver that is available for your 2001 BMW 325 Wagon is the Curt # C11174 which is a Class I with a 1-1/4 inch receiver. Keep in mind that you will want to check the weight capacities of your BMW as well as stay within the 2,000 lb Gross Trailer Weight and 200 lb Tongue Weight capacities of the Curt hitch.
You will also need to choose the correct ball mount for your application. I have attached a link to our selection of Class I hitch ball mounts that you can choose from as well as a helpful article that shows how to measure to choose the correct ball mount. You will also need a Hitch Ball with a 3/4 inch shank like the Tow Ready # 19256 which is a 1-7/8 inch diameter hitch ball or the # 19258 which is a 2 inch diameter hitch ball.
I also recommend installing the Curt # C59236 so that you have a 4-Pole flat wiring harness at the rear of your BMW. You will need to run a wire up to your battery for 12V power for this product.
