Installing a 5-way Trailer Wiring Harness on a 2015 Lexus RX 450h
Question:
Looking for information if eTrailer carrys a quick connect or other wiring harness to install a 5 Flat on a 2015 Lexus RX450h? It appears that it needs to be a powered converter and I dont see anything that ends with a 5 Flat.

To add a 5-way on your 2015 Lexus RX 450h you'll first need to add a 4-way connector. If your Lexus has the factory tow package you can use # 118255. Without the tow package you'll want # C59496. Both have a powered converter. The # 118255 plugs into the existing wiring behind the rear bumper. The # C59496 must be hard wired into the wiring. The installation instructions of both are attached. Both harnesses will give you trailer light functions for brake, turn, and running lights, but not reverse lights.
Once you have the 4-way you can use a an adapter to a 5-way # 20036. The additional included blue wire will need to be spliced into the reverse lights. A quick splice wire connector is included to make this easier.
