Question:
I installed one of ur Hopkins # 32625 on a 2000 jeep wrangler . only the driver side turn sig works ?? which makes sense it only connects to driver side light ??!! wth? saw some reviews with same problem , some reviews say was fine ?? is the kit made to work both lights ?? if so how is this possible ? most other kits hook to both lights?? You are correct, the Plug-N-Tow (TM) Vehicle Wiring Harness, item # 32625, only plugs into a connection point on the driver side on the vehicles it is confirmed as a fit for. This is because Jeep has already run all the necessary wires to that port for you, so you do not have to run the wires across yourself, as you would have to with other models that plug into both the driver and passenger taillights.
The issue you are experiencing is due to the fact that this harness is designed for newer Wranglers than yours. For your 2000 Wrangler you actually need to use the harness # 42615 or one that runs to both sides of the vehicle part # 118409.
