Adding a 4- and 7-Way Trailer Connector to a 2001 Ford F-250 with Factory Tow Package
Question:
I have a 2001 f250 super duty. I want to have a 7 and a 4 way plug on my truck. I have the factory tow package, I need a pigtail that will plug into my truck and also into a plug that is both 7 and 4 way. I was looking at #HM40975 as the 7 and 4 way, and #118243 to use the pigtail with the other plug. My question is will the 7+4 way plug into that pigtail from the other kit? Thanks

Yes! The wiring harness part of # 118243 will plug into the back of 7- and 4-Way connector # HM40975 on your 2001 Ford F-250. Both connectors have the same receptacle in the back so they are compatible with that harness in 118243. I have linked a couple of videos for these parts for you.
