The Flashcal's off-road features include the ability to recalibrate your Jeep's axle gear ratio to improve 2WD shift points. Modify the transfer case gear ratio to improve your 4 HI shift points or your 4 LO shift points. Adjust the psi threshold on your tire pressure monitoring system so that you can deflate your tires for off-roading without sparking any annoying warnings. The real-time idle-up feature lets you set your Jeep to maintain power to auxiliary electronics at any preset rpm (up to 1,600). So you can power a winch or off-road lights while parked or idling.
With the Flashcal, you can raise the stock speed limit setting on your vehicle, and you can recalibrate your factory speedometer to correct for various tire sizes.

Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at the Superchips Flashcal F5 Calibrator for the Jeep Gladiator. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2020 Jeep Gladiator with the 3.6 liter V6 engine. And this part will include everything shown here on the table.
It includes the calibrator itself, a USB cable, bypass module, and a nice operator's manual to describe how everything works. Now, this part will let you calibrate your vehicle to turn it into a superior off-road machine. It'll give you a transfer case gear and axle gear calibration to improve shift points. High load transfer case options. Gives you real time idle up, which will maintain power to auxiliary electronics at a preset RPM, and also offers tire pressure monitoring system adjustment to let you deflate your tires for off-roading without any annoying warnings.The screen on this as a high def 2.8 color LCD screen.
It does recalibrate your factory speedometer to correct for various tire sizes and gear ratios. It can calibrate for tire sizes from 22 and a half inches tall up to 42 inches tall. It will read and clear diagnostic trouble codes, locks Rubicon lockers in 4hi, and it can recalibrate signals for one touch lane changes, ESP stability optimization, and it'll plug directly into your vehicle's OBD2 port. The cable on this is about five foot long and it does store easily because it's a very small, thin handheld device and you can update it via the internet to insure up to the minute tuning accuracy. You just hit simply hook up to your computer's USB port and update it in minutes.
This part is made in the USA. And one note on this is not all the features are monitored. Parameters are available for all applications. The available features and parameters will pop up automatically on this display once this Flashcal is plugged into your vehicle. Bought this for my Silverado 2500HD. After I purchased the tuner add on, it significantly increased my horsepower. Its a difference of night and day. I initially had a problem with configuration of the tuner. A couple phone calls to SuperChips tech support and it was fixed with 3 updates. Etrailer and SuperChips customer service is second to none. I will pay more for my purchases just for the peace of mind knowing a company always stands for their customers
