Specs:

Jacks Appear to be exactly as advertised. Delivery was early. I bought this pair of jacks to replace a J-2500 that came on my Kodiak Cub. The J-2500 bent when I over torqued it while jack was not extended far enough.

I found out this 5000 pound model is not a drop in replacement. I had to drill additional mounting hole in the jack to match existing holes in trailer frame.

5000# replacements work a little better than original 2500# jacks. I highly recommend these as replacements.

by:

These are much beefier than the OEM. Installed in less than one hour. Have been on several 2000 mile plus trips. Work as expected.

by:

These jacks were a perfect replacement for the pair in the front of my 2016 Cherokee Grey Wolf 22RR, you can see from the pic of the old jack, that it needed to be replaced... drilled out some new holes, attached the new jack with some #5 bolts and nylon lock nuts and all is good to go! Thanks for the fast shipping!

Just what I was looking for to stabilize my trailer while loading my skidsteer and roller

by:

Great light

by:

Soooo much better than the factory scissor jacks that come on my travel trailer. The hole patten on the top plate matched the broken factory units perfectly and installed in less than 15 minutes each side. Also works with the JT Strongarms already installed for a more stable support. Super fast shipping considering the weight of the items. Order on Sunday afternoon and arrived Wednesday morning. Thanks etrailer

Quality looks good for the price

Still performing great great price and great customer service

Needed a few more scissor jacks for my coach. We have two electric stabilizers that we use for short term stays. I’ve situated the scissor jacks for a six point arrangement for our long term stays. Works great. George at E’trailer is my go to guy for rv stuff

by:

4 out of 5 just because they did not provide any mounting hardware. The jacks look good and appear to match their load rating. I am using them as rear stabilizers for my 5th wheel.

by:

I just received these earlier today, so I can’t tell you just how good they are until I mount them. The jacks appear to be fine. Nice heavy duty. However they need to be packed in heavier boxes. Two of them were poking out of the box. UPS is brutal on packages, so better boxes are needed.

by:

I just installed my new scissor jacks. They are definately an upgrade from the OEM jacks. I bent one of the original jacks and decided to replace all four. The new jacks are well built and a big improvement over the original units.

by:

easy to install and work great.

by:

These replacement jacks are way better than what came on my camper, very well made jacks, just wish they were American Made

by:

Bought these to replace the stabilizers on my 2020 Keystone Bullet after somehow bending one of them on our first trip of the season. Turnaround time on the order was great and they were easy to install.

by:

Exact fit to replace my front jacks damaged during the derecho. Easy install! Bolt pattern matched the old ones.

by:

Got the more expensive ones, figured they were a little sturdier, and they are nice and beefy. Tool seems to be good quality and so far so good.

by:

This is an excellent product and meets my expectations. Because it is a replacement it is not an exact fit and will require welding, which I was informed would be a possibility.

by:

Excellent replacement for my old rusted out jacks!

by:

I have ordered several times from etrailor and they always ship faster than any where I have ever ordered on line the parts for my camper is always a perfect match. Thanks etrailer

by:

Great jacks, easy install and a fair price. Been purchasing from etrailer for a long time now. Their customer service is top notch!

by:

Ordered them to replace the ones on our RV that I bent during our vacation. Easy to assemble and install on the RV.

by:

another great job and excellent on time delivery

by:

All good !

by:

Loved them. Definetely more supportive. Less wobble.

by:

They got here very quickly. Every thing fix like it should. Thank you very much.

  • Can you Add Scissor Jacks to a Camper to Stabilize It
You can definitely use manual scissor jacks on your camper. These can either bolt on or be welded to the camper's frame. They will give you much more stability. To find the right ones, you will need to know how much lift you need and your camper's GVWR. For example, the jacks from etrailer, part # e99012, have a 24" lift and 5000-lb capacity per jack. I've linked to a video review of these jacks for you. If you need help determining which are the right ones for you, then you can tell...

  • Recommended Landing Gear And Stabilizing Jacks For 29000lb 5th Wheel Trailer
To stabilize your 5th Wheel trailer that you will use as a food truck weighing around 29000lbs you will want to start with the Stromberg Carlson Manual Landing Gear Set - Weld On - 34-7/8" Lift - 8,000 lbs # LG-183708 to support the front of your trailer. With that installed you will also need 4 of the etrailer Scissor Jacks with Handle - 24" Lift - 5,000 lbs # e99012 which will give you the stabilization you are looking for when setting up the trailer as a food truck. These can be bolted...

  • Solution for RV Scissor Jacks with Damaged Screw
We do not offer that replacement part for these scissor jacks or any of the other scissor jacks we offer. If the screw is damaged it would be time to replace the entire jacks with the # e99012.

  • Recommended Lubricant For Trailer Scissor Jacks
The only type of lubrication you'll want to use on the threaded rod of your etrailer Scissor Jacks with Handle # e99012 would be the LubriMatic White Lithium Grease # L11354. White lithium grease will lube your equipment without allowing dirt and debris to stick and gum up/damage your equipment.

  • Best Place to Install Scissor Jacks on Winnebago Motorhome
When installing scissor jacks like the etrailer Scissor Jacks with Handle # e99012 you're basically looking for strong points on the frame like what you mentioned. There aren't any "set" places to install the jacks so it's more or less about using your best judgement. With that being said, if you aren't utilizing the trailer hitch on your Winnebago you might consider using the MORryde Hitch Mounted Stabilizer # MR22AR instead. This stores inside your motorhome and then installs by connecting...

  • What Mounting Hardware Do I Use for the etrailer Scissor Jacks e99012
There is not specific mounting hardware available for the etrailer Scissor Jacks with Handle # e99012 but you can source the Grade 5 bolts or self tapping screws needed at your local hardware store. You do need to use Grade 5 specifically if you're going to use the bolts or you could potentially risk shearing the mounting plates on these jacks.

  • Replacement Scissor Jacks for Starcraft Launch Ultra Lite
We have great stabilizer jacks sold in pairs that would work great on your 2015 Starcraft Lanch Ultra Lite with the part # e99012. These have a weight capacity of 5,000 lbs and a lift height of 24 inches.

  • Recommended Heavy Duty Jack To Change Tire On 2009 Toyota Sienna Converted To Camper Van
I have another option for you, but the etrailer Scissor Jacks with Handle - 24" Lift - 5,000 lbs - Qty 2 # e99012 you were looking at are actually designed to level and stabilize a trailer and are not designed to jack up your 2009 Toyota Sienna. Instead I recommend the Powerbuilt Unijack Bottle Jack with Built-In Jack Stand # ALL620471 which has a 6000lb capacity which is more than enough to lift up on corner of your Sienna, and has 21" lift so it will give you plenty of height to get...

  • Replacement Scissor Jacks for Starcraft 17BH Trailer
I have no way of knowing what is currently on your trailer. To replace the stabilizer jacks on your Starcraft 17BH trailer, I recommend the etrailer Scissor Jacks with Handle item # e99012. These jacks are sold as a pair and give you up to a 24" lift. They have a collapsed height of 4-3/8" and a 5,000 lbs capacity per jack. I have linked a review video below.

  • Recommended Stabilizer Jacks to Reduce Trailer Rocking
The etrailer.com Stabilizer Drop Leg Jacks # TJ01RT-HD are rated to 1,000 pounds per jack and would help with rocking, but can be a little limited due to having 6 1/4 inches of drop. The etrailer.com Scissor Jacks # e99012 would offer not only a higher capacity of 5,000 pounds per jack, they would also get you 24 inches of lift, if needed. Scissor jacks can be a bit of a pain to get into position, however, so the Ultra-Fab Speed Socket # UF48-979005 that attaches to a drill does make lifting...

  • etrailer Scissor Jack Dimensions
I pulled the etrailer Scissor Jacks with Handle # e99012 from our warehouse and found the center section to be 2" x 2-5/8" (pictured below). You should be able to fit this jack through your welded on brackets to bolt them on.

  • Replacement Scissor Jacks for Cruiser RV Fun Finder FB189 Travel Trailer
Yes, from the specs available to me it appears your 2007 Cruiser RV Fun Finder FB189 has a dry weight of little more than 2,700 lbs. with another 3,000 lbs. plus cargo weight available; that's a lot for a smaller trailer. The etrailer Scissor Jacks with Handle and 24" Lift, # e99012, are rated for 5,000 lbs. per jack so this will work as a replacement even if you max out the 3,000 lb. cargo weight. These stabilizing scissor jacks can be either bolted or welded to the frame of your trailer...
