Recommended Stabilizer Jacks to Reduce Trailer Rocking

Question:

I have a 1970 Pathfinder Travel Trailer that is fairly low to the ground but I think these might fit. Would you think these are enough for a 3500-4000 trailer? Im only looking to reduce rocking, not fully lift the trailer.

Helpful Expert Reply:

The etrailer.com Stabilizer Drop Leg Jacks # TJ01RT-HD are rated to 1,000 pounds per jack and would help with rocking, but can be a little limited due to having 6 1/4 inches of drop. The etrailer.com Scissor Jacks # e99012 would offer not only a higher capacity of 5,000 pounds per jack, they would also get you 24 inches of lift, if needed. Scissor jacks can be a bit of a pain to get into position, however, so the Ultra-Fab Speed Socket # UF48-979005 that attaches to a drill does make lifting and retracting significantly easier.
