Recommended Landing Gear And Stabilizing Jacks For 29000lb 5th Wheel Trailer

Question:

I have a 5th wheel trailer that I am wanting to install six landing gear on it. The trailer will weigh about 22,000lbs. This will act as a food truck so there will be another 7,000lbs. worth of equipment also installed. I would like a quote for this. Let me know if you have any questions for me. Thanks

To stabilize your 5th Wheel trailer that you will use as a food truck weighing around 29000lbs you will want to start with the Stromberg Carlson Manual Landing Gear Set - Weld On - 34-7/8" Lift - 8,000 lbs # LG-183708 to support the front of your trailer.

With that installed you will also need 4 of the etrailer Scissor Jacks with Handle - 24" Lift - 5,000 lbs # e99012 which will give you the stabilization you are looking for when setting up the trailer as a food truck. These can be bolted or welded to the frame of your trailer.

Keep in mind that these stabilizers will not lift your trailer, and are designed to help support the trailer. Using these products to lift the trailer would overload the components and lead to damage.

You can find the current price of each of the products mentioned by visiting the product pages using the included links.

I included videos for both of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
