Today we're going to be taking a look at part number YR1200B, this is the Yates Blue Keel Roller for boat trailers. It's going to replace one keel roller. It's going to ease loading and unloading of your boat and it's going to support the bottom of the boat as it sits on the trailer which is going to help absorb road shock while the boat is being towed during travel. It's going to be constructed of TPR technology, that's going to be Thermal Plasticized Rubber, that's a non-marking, non-scratching material. It's going to be stronger and more durable than your traditional rubber and it's going to be softer and more pliant than polyurethane. The product is fully made right here in the USA, it's designed for 12 inch wide brackets with a 5/8 inch diameter shaft. Take a look at the overall measurements real quick, start with the overall length, edge to edge, it's going to measure 11 3/4 of an inch.
Then when it comes to the diameter, measuring edge to edge of this portion right here, it's going to be about 3 1/8 of an inch. That's going to do it for today's look at part number YE1200B.

Material is very soft and consequently has more scratches and gouges in it after only a year than the previous roller did it 22 years of service.
Product arrived on time,well packaged.I'm in the process of rebuilding the boat trailer so haven't used the rollers yet
I use this roller for a 16.5 ft Klamath that I launch in very shallow water. These rollers as well as roller bunks allows for easy launching. This roller helps get the boat onto the trailer as I have to winch it on. I haven't noticed any damage to the roller after 6 months of use in salt water.
This item is a lot smaller in diameter than the stoltz roller I am replacing. Which is my own fault for not looking at the circumference of it before I bought it.
I have always used stoltz rollers in the past, and in my opinion from just the weight and the feel of this Yates roller I would say the Stoltz rollers will outlast this Yates by far. Only time will tell. Hopefully I am wrong.
Another great product. Fit perfectly. Replaced old black rollers that were cracked and the steel interior sleeves had rusted. New roller is softer, more resilient and won't rust internally. Superb customer service too.
It's blue and goes with my boat. Beats being stuck with yellow or black rollers. My only gripe is that I cannot seem to find the hardware to mount it in stainless steel.
These are some great rollers! Much better than the old black falling apart units they replaced. Seem quite strong but just installed them so time will tell.
