Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra RV Reducing Wye Fitting. This unit's made from a durable plastic construction. It would get installed in an RV sewer drain system and combine both the black tank and gray tank pipes to 1 outlet. This point, right here, is going to feature a fixed flange. That would get connected to a 3-inch valve. The mount hole separation on that flange, it's going to be about 3-and-3/4-of-an-inch.
That's going to be the same separation between each set of holes, measuring on center. This point's going to feature the rotating flange. This would get connected to an inch-and-a-half valve. The mount hole separation on this flange, that's going to give us a measurement of right around 2-and-a-half inches, maybe 2-and-7/16ths-of-an-inch, right in that area. The rotating flange design is a really nice option, because that allows you to position the valve handle in a location that works best for your application. This end, right here, is going to feature your 3-inch bayonet fitting. This is a 3-inch bayonet hub.
It's going to have a 4-pin design, so it will accept standard 3-inch bayonet style fittings with both 2-hook and 4-hook designs. That's going to give us an outer diameter measurement of right on 3-and-a-half inches. It's also going to feature this point, right here. This is going to allow you to attach a cap with a tether strap, if desired or if you have that. That's going to do it for today's look at the Valterra RV Reducing Wye Fitting..

They send status updates so you know the exact status of your shipment.
The part arrived in perfect condition and appears to be the correct one, although I haven't had a chance to physically check it against the one I'm replacing. I did compare it to the wrong one (purchased from someone else) and this one does appear to be correct.
