Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra RV reducing Y connector. This sanitary Y is part of your RV's sewer system that connects to both the black water and gray water waste valves to combine them into one pipe. As you can see here it does have the Y configuration. This connection point here is going to feature a 3 inch rotating phalange that bolts onto your RV's black water waste valve. Hardware to do that is not included. On this connection point it features a 2 inch hub that slides onto your gray water waste pipe.

This will require some ABS solvent cement. That is sold separately and available at etrailer.com. This connection point is a 3 inch lug fitting that allows you to connect to a bayonet fitting on a sewer hose. I also want to point out that I recommend using a bayonet style cap to cover the lug fitting when it's not in use. Bayonet style caps are sold separately and available at etrailer.com.

The unit features a pin right here. This is a connection point for a tether that would be attached to a bayonet cap, that way you don't misplace or lose the cap.It's made from a sturdy plastic construction. It's black in color. I took a measurement. From this point here to this point here, so that overall length measurement gave us a measurement of right around 7 inches.

The inner diameter of the 2 inch hub, that's this portion here, that measures about 2 3/8 inch, and then the outer diameter of the 3 inch connection measures about 3 3/16 inch to 3 1/4 inches, right in that area.That's going to do it for today's look at the Valterra RV reducing Y.
