This is a great product, it was easy to install and mount underneath my 2006 dodge caravan. It worked absolutely great, and is still in great top condition after install. We took it on a 2,000 mile long road trip that aided us fantastically and would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an external trailer hitch receiver. I would buy another one when/ if I had another vehicle to install it on.
I live in northwest washington, had no problems with rust on my 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan. Hitch installed very easily. Kind of. I didn't have a 18 mm socket at the beginning which I needed for the stock bolts. We got it done with a crescent wrench, but that 18mm socket sure did come in handy too tighten everything down. The nuts the hitch came with are 3/4, stock bolts 18mm. Super easy to install though. Would have taken 15 minutes with proper tools, didn't even need to jack the van up. Towing a 14' fiberglass fishing boat. Used with part number "118376 T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector". Wiring harness was very easy to install. I got rear ended in a hit and run so I was worried about how that would affect the install but both were extremely easy. I did the harness while my friend did the hitch. We had a third person to assist us both, can't stress how easy this was though, thank you!!! Also, it showed up a day earlier than what I was told, nice surprise!
The receiver got here quickly and with all the parts. The price was the best I could find anywhere on the Internet. It was a breeze to install on my 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan. I am VERY happy with etrailer.com and will certainly be back in the future!
This tow hitch it's great quality,after have a problem when I get the package with some missing bolts to install it, but they are help me sending me the parts missing and i have it on my 2005 Chrysler town and country, and pull some campers and pop up, even a dolly car and works Great... Use the hitch nearly every week end. With no problems. Installation was quick and easy.
Installed on 2001 Town and Country Van. Only problem I had was putting one of the rear bolts back in. The nut tread would not take hold of the bolt treads. Ended up getting hold of a tap and die set and some how managed to get it started correctly into the nut. Then the bolt went in. My son had a torque wrench. Next test will be towing my 4X8 trailer without breaking the mounting bolts when loaded.
The trailer wiring was a little tricky installing. The ground wire was attached in a different place. Since I used to installed two-way radio's into military equipment it was not hard to figure out another grounding place. The most trouble I had was removing the tail light connector so I could plug in the trailer wiring. Test of trailer lights was right on. Even with the head lights on.

Still working good. My main suggestion is a longer grounding wire. About twice the length.The problem I have now is the turn signal circuit shorted out. I disconnected the trailer wiring at the connector in the tail light. Still shorted but it was nice too have a easy way to remove trailer wiring from circuit. Being hard wired in, or spliced in would have been a pain.I like simple.
Excellent product, easy to install. Soaked the bolts in the frame with penetrating oil for three days (once a day) while it was in transit. Out of the box and on the van in 25 minutes. Really impressed with the look of it.
The trailer hitch receiver and relevant trailer lights wiring harness arrived within 2 days of order in perfect condition. Both fit the 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan exactly and instillation was exactly as described. I am very satisfied with the product and service.

A year following installation, I am still satisfied. Although the receiver has been used sparingly, there has been no problem. Same with the trailer lights - no problem. I would recommend these products to a friend.
My new hitch arrived and looked perfect for my 2001 Chrysler minivan. But I never got to install it because I could not get my old hitch off the vehicle due to rusty bolts. I asked etrailer if I could send the new one back for a refund and they said OK. After it was shipped back, they refunded my money minus return shipping. This was very fair. Thanks, etrailer.
Installation was perhaps 15 minutes....or less.
However the original bolt removal....not so much. Realizing I had a rust issue and experience with rusted bolts I soaked and agitated the bolts for 2 days in advance but held little hope. Approached somewhat gently, then more aggressively. Broke 1 bolt.
What the real problem was that the other three had seriously become one with the nuts. At first look they appeared to be moving but then twisted loose the spot welded receiving nuts on the inside of the bumper channel. Spinning bolts and nuts was the result.
Kind of a "now what?" moment for a bit.
The cure: Use a cut off disc to slice the bolts or bolt head off. Remove the bumper cover. The bumper will then slide out. I also removed the one oem nut that held the remains of the broken bolt.
Acquire new bolts and nuts, Clean metal, TIG weld nuts to bumper channel, prime and paint with your favorite anti rust coating.
Reinstall bumper and cover. Some anti-seize on the bolts would not hurt.....just in case you need to do maintenance a few years down the road.
Installation is a piece of cake from that point.
Tip: I would pick up new nuts and bolts before starting this job for any vehicle more than 5 yrs old and/or lives in the rust and salt belt.

First the bottom of the box gave out as I carried it in from the front porch, luckily I was wearing heavy boots or I might have a broken foot. After safely unboxing the hitch I realized there were several spots the didn’t get painted at the factory, and/or where the paint had been chipped off (maybe from being dropped?). So the price would have been great if I didn’t have to do touch up priming and painting. I can’t mount the hitch until the paint dries. Photos are of the primer touch up.

I will have our customer service team reach out to you. You have already done what we would recommended by touching up the hitch with a rust resistant paint. Over time the hitch will experience chips in the powder coat due to road debris. It is a good idea to have the paint on hand for regular hitch maintenance.

Good price with very fast shipping. Also very easy to install the hitch, I installed mine all by myself. Just be sure to work the 4 bolts back up and down while taking them out to avoid breaking them off and to help loosen the holes up to get the studs in.

Still working like it should.
Great ordering experience. The hitch arrived quickly as promised. Installation was a breeze, had it bolted on in about 15 minutes.
My new Draw-Tite hitch fit perfectly. I followed the video recommendation and sprayed the four bolts a couple of days before installation. The unscrewed easily with a long handle socket wrench. I had the hitch on and tightened down in 20 minutes. I will be using this hitch for my bike rack and cargo carrier. I highly recommend Etrailer
This seemed like the perfect hitch to pull a small trailer with some kayaks in with my mini-van. I am always a little unsure when a product says fits using existing bolts, no drilling required. The hitch came very fast, and I must admit it fit better than I imagined. I had one stubborn bolt that took a whole can of penetrating oil, but once removed, the hitch was on in a few minutes, and fit like a glove. The plug and play wiring I also ordered went on in minutes, and I was ready to hook up the trailer and go. The hitch looks great, and so does the quality. I would definitely recommend this product and etrailer.com.
I was very impressed with etrailer.com's installation videos. They certainly have made quite an investment so their customers can have confidence in knowing that the product they are interested in will surely fit their application. Hitch arrived in a timely manner. Installation would have been a breeze if I followed their suggestion to soak the factory fasteners with penetrating oil before starting. Ya, three bolts out fine, one broke off. Needless to say I caused myself quite a bit of extra work. Listen to them and use the oil!!! Would've been in and down the road in 20 minutes but for the setback. Great experience and etrailer is now my first stop for all my trailering needs.
2000 chrysler voyager, class 2 hitch, and wiring harness. Perfect fit, well made, easy dyi install. In hindsight, I suggest installing the provided studs first, then removing the existing bolts. Probably how the videos instruct, but I don't remember. The wiring harness was a breeze except for the passenger side which in my case, had very limited access, but I managed. They sent 2 wire ties, trust me you'll need more. I think I used 9 or 10. Buy with confidence, this product worked for me.
Arrived well packaged with simple instructions and was on vehicle in about 20 minutes. This one is a "no brainer"! Really. I used a small floor jack to help me hold it in place while I lined up the bolts so I could do it myself since I'm not as strong as I use to be!! Have a utility trailer and a bike rack to put it to use.
I purchased the DRAW-TITE hitch for my wife's van, and the wiring harnes for trailer plug in. I installed both products with ease. Took longer to install wiring, 30 mins, and only 10 mins to install hitch. Would recommend these products to anyone.

Fit my 2003 grand caravan great. Holds the drawbar snugly and doesn’t bounce and rattle like some hitches I’ve used. Works great and looks like new after a year of use. I Would definitely recommend this hitch.
