Note: This step assembly includes the step frame only. For the steps to work, you will need a motor, control unit, and switch kit.
If you want the complete step assembly that allows the steps to automatically extend and retract with the RV door, you will need a control unit (sold separately). You will also need a switch kit (sold separately), which lets you override the automatic retraction, so the steps stay out whether the door is open or closed. The complete assembly with steps, motor, control unit, and switch kit is available under part number LC3658373.

I installed it and it works. The only problem I have is keeping it lubricated so it will work properly.
Product available and shipped promptly. Original steps had broken support and these replacement steps had different support structure and I believe it to be better and stronger. Video on installation was great help in understanding potential issues during installation. New steps frame fit perfectly and is working nicely. No more wobbly steps.

Whilst I cannot fault etrailer, their service and delivery of product is quite good.
There were some issues with this product I ordered from them.
First off it came without critical parts, the linkage between the motor gears and the step, making it useless out of the box. Secondly, it was supposed to be a clean swap between the old 2 step that I removed... but turns out it was NOT the same bolt pattern. I had to WELD additional metal plates to the new step, drill the holes for the appropriate bolt pattern and only then, was I able to affix the 3 step model to my RV. In addition, after much consulting with the manufacturer of the step, it turned out that the motor had been wired incorrectly and I had to switch the polarity of the motor for the steps to function properly with the door and the switch that allows the steps to STAY down whilst camping and still be able to open and close the door.
Let's just say... it was extremely problematic getting this product installed and made to function properly.
I ordered these 3 steps without the motor to replace steps I trashed while backing up. The previous steps were almost new when I trashed them, so I decided to try to just replace the steps and move the electronics & motor to the replacement steps. The ones I bought from etrailer were listed as "used" due to scratches & scuffs, making them about $140 less than the new ones. When I received (in about 3 days) them they looked new with a few chips out of the paint. I moved the electrical stuff over and positioned them under the coach. They are really too heavy to install without a lift or extra person, but I was able to get them aligned and a nut started ... so they were on the only remaining issue was the bolt that actuates the steps needed to be inserted. This requires one to use the door to auto retract the steps (a little) to be able to insert the bolt. I was able to close the door while under the coach allowing the mechanism to come in far enough to get the bolt in and unplugged the steps to stop them from going back out. The steps look and operate as NEW!!! The etrailer staff are very professional and helpful and quick to follow up if needed. Top notch service and excellent discounted product. Thanks,

The 3-step frame arrived today in great shape - though the box was shredded and covered with clear packing tape. The UPS driver asked if I wanted to check it out and I could refuse delivery. I laughed, said all the reviews said the item was fine even with the ripped up packaging. Now to watch the YouTube video and figure out how to install this.
the steps we ordered were just right, so easy to install.....and the price was so much lower than the place we usually buy our rv items....

The 22 x 8 bolt pattern was not exact. I spent 3 hours yesterday and couldn't get it. I will try again today and if I still can't get it, I will have to return.
Box was a bit torn up, but looks to be in fine shape. Tomorrow I get to put the steps in place.
Just got today. Was very fast delivery. Although the packaging was mangled
the product looks OK but the packaging is in need of some redesign
this is how it arrived at my door.
really.. I would expect more than thin corrugated cardboard to keep this 85 lb thing from rattling around in the box.
we'll see if it works in the next couple days.

It needs to be lubricated periodically but it is still working as intended.
