Video Transcript for Rear View Safety Inc Backup Cameras and Alarms RVS-2133 Review

Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the rear view safety trailer tow quick connect and disconnect kit for multiple cameras. Now, these cables'll allow you to wire your truck and your trailer separately, and then connect and disconnect them with just the one pigtail cable. It is designed for use with up to three cameras. The kit will include everything shown here on the table. We'll start with the three-foot-long cable, has the three leads that connect the camera cables to the quick connect and disconnect cable. And it does include the mounting bracket for the front of the trailer. The other cable is this 26-foot-long cable that has the three leads for the tow vehicle.

And it also has the mounting bracket for the back of the vehicle, which will split into three at the front of the vehicle to connect the multiplexer or power harness. And then the curly pigtail cable, that'll stretch to 12 feet, goes between the vehicles. And it connects to these connectors right here. This cable'll allow your backup camera to be quickly connected/disconnected from your fifth wheel, tractor trailer, trailer, or virtually any other application where you want to connect and disconnect your backup cameras. But that should do it for the review on the rear view, safety trailer tow quick connect and disconnect kit for multiple cameras..

  • Recommended Trailer Connector for 3 Camera Trailer Connection and Ford Monitor with RCA Inputs
For your desired connection, I recommend the Rear View Safety Trailer Tow Quick Connect/Disconnect Kit - 3 Camera Set Up # RVS-2133 then use the Rear View Safety Multiplexer Box - 3 Channel # RVS-501N. This will give you the video output and the female RCA connections. If you need the RCA male you can use # RVS-RCA5-AM. • Will Furrion Vision S Camera Kit Work with 34 Foot Trailer
The Furrion Vision S # FR98NR will work with your 34' trailer, but probably not consistently since that is pushing the limits of the wireless connection. I wish Furrion had an extender so their system was compatible with longer trailers but for your application I recommend using a different camera setup like the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System - 4 Camera Setup # RVS-062710 along with the Rear View Safety Trailer Tow Quick Connect/Disconnect Kit - 3 Camera Set Up # RVS-2133 so you...

  • Tow Mirrors and Other Accessory Recommendations for Towing with a for 2020 MB GLS450
That is a bit of a loaded question so I'll try to make my list condensed, but we do have everything to help you feel comfortable while towing your 25' Airstream trailer with your 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLS450. While we haven't test fit any towing mirrors on a GLS450, the K-Source Universal Mirrors # KS3891-2 should work just fine as they fit just about any side mirror out there that is within 4-1/2" - 11-1/2" tall. These clip on the mirror house and then have protection wherever there will...

For your setup, I recommend the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System with Side Cameras # RVS-062710 and Quick Connect Kit # RVS-2133. This will give you two additional cameras to allow you to see the blind spots from your trailer better for turns and lane changes. I've attached videos to assist. If you just want to see the Jeep behind the trailer, then I recommend the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System with Trailer Tow Quick Connect Kit # RVS-770613-213. • Adding a Rear View Safety Camera System to a Flagstaff Micro Lite Trailer with Furrion Wiring
The Rear View Safety Kit # RVS-619N-913 includes the Universal Mirror Monitor # RVS-619N and the Third Brake Light with Camera for Chevy Express 2003-2019 # RVS-913 so the brake light will not mount very well on your Flagstaff Micro Lite trailer. Instead you would want a camera like part # RVS-917. Since Rear View Safety and Furrion are different manufacturers their wiring is different. You may be able to splice the wiring but I recommend going with part # RVS-917619P which includes wiring...

  • Recommendation For 4 Camera Monitoring System For Truck And Trailer
For the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System - 4 Camera Setup - Quad View Monitor # RVS-062710, the two rear view cameras are identical. They both have a 130 degree viewing angle and 50 foot infrared night vision. I recommend using this system with the Rear View Safety Trailer Tow Quick Connect/Disconnect Kit - 3 Camera Set Up # RVS-2133. This system is hardwired, so if you want to add another camera, that would include another camera as they can't just be moved easily. You can add...

  • RV Camera System That Works with Wiring on 2015 Forest River Cherokee Grey Wolf Travel Trailer
We can help you choose a camera system to make travel in your Grey Wolf trailer a bit less stressful even if that camera cannot use the existing wiring socket in the trailer. For maximum safety and visibility the item I suggest is the Rear View Safety camera system # RVS-062710. • Recommended 4-Camera System for a 2015 Heartland Cyclone 5th Wheel Trailer
I do have a solution for you, but I am not sure if your 2015 Heartland Cyclone already comes pre-wired for a camera system so I wouldn't know if there are specific connectors. The camera system that I recommend installing on your Cyclone is the Rear View Safety Camera System # RVS-062710 which comes with 4 cameras and then a quick connect kit # RVS-2133. I recommend connecting the 2 cameras on the side of your 5th wheel trailer to the same circuit so that you can utilize all 4 cameras. An...

  • Can Additional Camera be Added to the Hopkins Smart Hitch System # HM50002
The alarm on the Hopkins Smart Hitch # HM50002 that you currently have can actually be muted via the button on the lower right part of the monitor. I do have some options for you to utilize an extra camera but it will involve adding a new system or swapping out what you have since the Smart Hitch is only compatible with one camera. If you don't want to get rid of the Smart Hitch but you do want to add a camera to your trailer then a great solution for you would be the Rear View Safety...

  • Can a Different Camera System be Used for a 5th Wheel that has Furrion Camera Wiring
You can definitely use a different brand of backup camera for your 5th wheel, you will just need to do some basic modifications on your end. The Rear View Safety Backup Camera System # RVS-062710 is a popular item especially when used with a quick connect kit # RVS-2133 for easy connecting and disconnecting from your tow vehicle. To modify your trailer you would need to remove the mounting bracket and then find a way to splice into the wiring and connect the other camera.

  • Recommended Four Camera Wireless Camera System With One Monitor For Truck And Trailer
For a Wireless 4 Camera System, I recommend the Rear View Safety Wireless Backup Camera System - 7" Quad View Display with Built-in DVR # RVS-4CAM. If you have any aluminum in your trailer system, it can cause interference to wireless connectivity so if you have an aluminum trailer, I recommend you go with a wired system. • How Does Furrion Vision S 3 Camera System Install on 2020 Jayco Redhawk 24B
The Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Observation Camera System w/ 3 Marker Light Cameras # FR98NR is very popular mainly because it gives you side lights that also act as marker lights so they are a little hidden and the whole system just looks pretty sleek. The Rear View Safety Backup Camera System with Side Cameras # RVS-062710 comes with hardware to attach the cameras to the outside of the trailer. If you go with this system along with the quick tow # RVS-2133, I recommend putting a dab of silicone sealant # LT37464 at the holes so no water can get in. There is only one power wire that will need to be installed for the whole system. The cameras do not require their own power wires. I have included a diagram showing how the 4-camera system wires up. This is compatible with the Quick Connect Trailer Tow Kit # RVS-2133.
