Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the rear view safety trailer tow quick fit connect and disconnect kit for the backup camera systems. This quick connect kit for your backup camera system will work with the rear view safety models RVS-7706123-213 and the RVS-7706124-213. Both of those we do sell separately on our website. These cables will allow you to wire your truck and trailer separately and then connect or disconnect with just this one pigtail cable. The kit includes everything shown here. It starts with the 66 foot long cable that will run through the trailer.

It comes with a mounting bracket to put at the front of the trailer. It comes with the 26 foot long cable for the tow vehicle, again the mounting bracket for the rear of the tow vehicle, and it's all connected by this 12 foot long curly pigtail cable that you can just plug these in and then tighten it down to secure it.That should do it for the review on the rear view safety trailer tow quick connect and disconnect kit for the backup camera systems.

  • Installation of Forest River Trailer Camera System with Ford Dash Monitor Connection
There is really only one wiring harness compatible with your 2019 Ford F-250 truck monitor and it is for the truck bed cargo camera that installs behind the 3rd brake light. If you use this harness, then you can install a wireless harness for connection to your trailer because there isn't a wireless receiver option. If you have the 8 inch factory monitor use the Truck Bed Cargo Camera for 8" Factory Monitor - Switch Kit # 3460001. If you have the 4.2 inch monitor use # 3460002. Then...

  • Can Trailer Rear View Camera Be Connected to Rear View Mirror Monitor on 2010 Ford F-350
You can potentially use an aftermarket camera with the rear view mirror monitor on your 2010 Ford F-350 if it has regular RCA video connections to it. In that case I recommend picking up these parts from Rear View Safety: - Backup Camera # RVS-771 - Trailer Tow Quick Connect Kit # RVS-213-613 This gives you all of the wiring you need as well as a way to easily connect and disconnect the wiring from your trailer and tow vehicle. If your monitor doesn't have these connections then you'll...

  • Rear View Safety Trailer Quick Connect Kit for Backup or Observation Systems
We have two complete wiring options for you. The Rear View Safety Trailer Tow Quick Connect Kit For Backup Camera Systems # RVS-213-613 and the Rear View Safety Trailer Tow Quick Connect/Disconnect Kit - 3 Camera Set Up # RVS-2133. If you already have the wiring and just need the pigtail then use # RVS-213 for the pigtail and connectors.

  • Adding a Rear View Safety Camera System to a Flagstaff Micro Lite Trailer with Furrion Wiring
The Rear View Safety Kit # RVS-619N-913 includes the Universal Mirror Monitor # RVS-619N and the Third Brake Light with Camera for Chevy Express 2003-2019 # RVS-913 so the brake light will not mount very well on your Flagstaff Micro Lite trailer. Instead you would want a camera like part # RVS-917. Since Rear View Safety and Furrion are different manufacturers their wiring is different. You may be able to splice the wiring but I recommend going with part # RVS-917619P which includes wiring...

  • Recommended Camera System for 2021 Rockwood 5th Wheel and 2019 Factory Dash Monitor
The Custom Third Brake Light Camera for 4.2" Factory Monitor - Night Vision # 3460025 is the only system we have that allows the switch to let you select the camera feed on that monitor. I recommend using the Rear View Safety Trailer Tow Quick Connect Kit For Backup Camera Systems # RVS-213-613 and then the Rear View Safety Adapter Cord - 5 Pin Male to RCA Male # RVS-RCA5-AM. This will let you flip the switch to toggle between a factory backup camera on the truck and the camera at the...

  • Backup Camera to Fit RCA Connections on Tow Vehicle In-Dash Monitor
I have a great solution for you with the Rear View Safety Backup Camera # RVS-771 as this comes with an RCA connection adapter to fit directly to your truck. The only other thing you'll need is the Trailer Tow Quick Connect Kit # RVS-213-613 so you'll have a plug on both your trailer and tow vehicle and you'll make the manual connection prior to towing. Attached are some review videos for you to check out. If you want to move to a camera system that uses more than one camera just let me...

  • Quick Disconnect for the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System
The Rear View Safety Backup Camera System part # RVS-778718N has two input ports, AV1 and AV2. Any input hooked up to the AV1 port will continuously show that feed on the rear view monitor. Any input attached to the AV2 port will only show the feed when the vehicle is in reverse. Therefore, yes you can hook two cameras up to this system, but only 1 will be able to be shown at a time. For an additional camera you will want to use part # RVS-778. Since you will be installing a camera on...

  • Rear Trailer Camera Needed for 2018 Ford F-150 with OEM Tow Package and Pro Trailer Assist Monitor
I do have some options for you but unfortunately there are no observation cameras that you can mount to your trailer that are compatible with the factory monitor on your 2018 Ford F-150. Your other option include replacing your rear view mirror with the kit # RVS-770718 and adding the trailer tow quick connect kit # RVS-213-613 or using a completely different monitor with the kit # RVS-770613-213 which comes with the quick connect kit. The advantage of using the replacement mirror option...

In order to use the Rear View Safety Backup Camera part # RVS-770 you would need to obtain the following: Rear View Safety Backup Monitor part # RVS-6137N Rear View Safety Multiplexer Box part # RVS-501N Rear View Safety Trailer Tow Quick Connect Kit part # RVS-213-613 Unfortunately, there would be no way use to use the above camera with the factory monitor in your 2018 Ram 2500. • What is Rear View Safety Adapter Cord Compatible With?
The Rear View Safety Adapter Cord # RVS-RCA5-AM does not work in conjunction with the Trailer Tow Quick Connect Kit # RVS-213-613 you referenced. Instead, it connects a Rear View Safety camera directly to any monitor with an RCA input. To power it, you'll also need the Rear View Safety Female Power Cable Item # RVS-RCA-P. I've added a link to a video review of this adapter cord for you to take a look at.

  • How to Connect/Disconnect Rear View Safety Backup Camera System from a Travel Trailer
If you are wanting to install the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System # RVS-770613-NM on a travel trailer then you also need the quick connect/disconnect kit # RVS-213-613. However, if you would like the option of adding additional cameras to your trailer in the future I recommend going with the kit # RVS-2133 instead which carries 3 signals as opposed to 1.

I checked with Rear View and the Rear View Safety Trailer Tow Quick Connect Kit part # RVS-213-613 requires a bracket hole size of 0.17". The cable hole for the cable coming from the camera needs to be 0.8" and it is drilled into the vehicle body near the camera and bracket.

  • Observation Camera Connection to Ford Onboard Digital Navigation Display
The Furrion RV Observation Camera System # FOS43TASF will not allow you to use your Ford Onboard Navigation Display. The Furrion monitor has a transmission receiver that pairs with the camera and there is not an output from the monitor, so the system will require use of the monitor. For your camera system, I recommend the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System with Trailer Tow Quick Connect Kit - 2 Cameras # RVS-776614-213. this system comes with the license plate camera, the connection cord and the rear camera for your trailer. You will just want to make sure the trailer camera has a power supply from the running light circuit so it has a constant view.

  • Recommended Camera to Mount on Trailer for Highway Rear Viewing
I have the perfect solution for your towing situation! I recommend going with the Rear View Safety Universal Backup Camera System # RVS-770619N. It comes with a 7" monitor that replaces your current rear view mirror. The monitor can also be used as your normal everyday mirror due to the material of the screen. This comes with one camera and 66' of cable. Simply connect the power to a circuit that either turns on when your Ford Focus is started, or that is connected to the running lights...

  • Can K-Source Vision System Backup Camera Be Mounted on Rear of Travel Trailer
The K-Source Vision System Backup Camera # KSVS-8 can be installed onto the back of a travel trailer. You would also need to get part # RVS-213-613. This will be the connection between your car and trailer. Since it is not designed to work with the K-Source, instead of plugging each end in you will cut the connections off and hardwire one end into your ar and one into your trailer's wiring.
