Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at this Rightline Gear black spare tire cover. This durable UV resistant weatherproof cover is going to extend the life of your vehicle spare tire by shielding it against the sun, weather, dirt, and grime, and road salt. And it's going to fit 27-inch to 35-inch in diameter tires. So it's going to be great for Jeep Wranglers, SUVs, RVs, and trailers. Currently, I have this cover on a Provider ST235/85R16 radial tire with a 16-inch wheel.
The tire has an outer diameter of 31.7 inches. So that kind of gives you an idea of what this cover looks like on a bigger tire and wheel such as this. Now let me turn this around here and show you the rather large opening that this cover has.
It has this elastic cord. And I have the elastic cord out all the way. It has a cord lock here. So what I can do is just make this a little bit tighter by pushing in on the button on this cord lock and pulling this elastic string out just a little bit more. So that cord locks gonna hold the elastic string in place, making this nice and tight for you.
So it covers it completely on the front and around the sides. They just have this opening here in the back, but it has really good coverage. This cover is made from a PVC semi coated mesh neoprene. So you have more of this PVC semi coated mesh on the face of the cover. And then this neoprene is then on the side and on the back of the cover.
So it feels durable. I think it's going to hold up well. The seams look like they're going to hold up well. So overall, it looks like a pretty nice rugged cover that I think is gonna do a pretty good job of protecting your spare tire. Of course, the cover is in all black, and it features Rightline Gears logo right here in the center. And this does come with a brief setup guide. But overall, I think it's gonna be a great cover. It was really easy for me to put this on, even though I don't have this tire wheel mounted on anything. It was relatively easy to put it on and make sure it had a tight fit there at the back of the tire and wheel assembly. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that was helpful for you.
