Ellen: Hey, everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're taking a quick look at the Peterson Great White LED Trailer Light. This is going to give you a nice, bright light in a relatively small package. It's also nice that it is completely sealed, so it's going to be waterproof and dustproof. So even if you did want to mount this outside your trailer or in an area that might be exposed to any kind of dirt and debris, you shouldn't have any worries about anything getting in there and causing any issues. So I'm going to take a closer look at this and we're going to hook it up to power and ground to see how bright it really is.

So you've just got the two wires to connect. White goes to ground, and then our black wire will go to power.So I get my wires go in here. Turn on my power source. You can see how bright that light is. Turn out my studio lights to get a better idea.

So it really does give you a nice bright light for how small this little housing is. So I really like that. It gives a nice clean white light. It works with 12 volt and 24 volt DC systems. And of course, LEDs are always a good idea to use instead of any kind of incandescent bulbs.

They just last longer, burn a little brighter, and typically take less power than a comparable incandescent setup. So, it's just a good idea to switch them out to LEDs when you can. Now this does not come with any mounting hardware. So that is something you will have to pick up on your own. A couple of screws at either end will probably do the trick for this.It's pretty lightweight, so it really shouldn't take too much.

Total length is about seven and three quarter inches long from the inset of these little spots here. It's about seven and a quarter inch of space. The actual light portion that's exposed is about five and a quarter inch long. Total width, just over an inch. And the height is about three quarters of an inch. The lead that you get for the wiring is about six inches long. We do have a total of one, two, three, four diodes. The output is 300 lumens. Again, it's IP 67 rated so dustproof pretty much waterproof as well. It is covered by a 10 year limited warranty and it is made in the USA.
