Spare Tire Cover for 235/85-16 and 235/80-16 Tires Mounted On Gooseneck Trailer

Question:

I have a couple of gooseneck trailers and need a spare tire cover for them. One has a 235/85/16 spare, and its mounted up on top of the gooseneck frame. I need it to be able to withstand wind, unlike a Jeep where its mounted in the back. I also have one that is mounted on the front of the trailer, in front of the landing gear behind the bumper of my truck Its a 235/80/16. It, too, will be subject to wind. These covers need to be secure, so they don't blow off, and sturdy, so they don't rip apart.

Expert Reply:

For a cover that fits your 235/85-16 and 235/80-16 tires on your gooseneck trailer I recommend the Rightline Gear Spare Tire Cover # RG87VR. This features a durable neoprene construction to handle the wind while you're driving. It is also weatherproof and UV resistant. The elastic cord will keep it snug and secure while reducing any wind flap.
