How to Measure Your TV for VESA Mounting Patterns
VESA is an industry standard for measurements given in millimeters used to mount TVs. Most modern TVs use this standard, but you need to know your TV's mounting pattern to select the correct mount. To find this pattern, use a ruler to measure the distance between mounting holes on the back. You can measure in centimeters, keeping in mind that 10cm equals 100mm.

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at This VESA mounting plate for RV TV mounts. This is going adapt your RV TV mount to work with a large flat screen television. This adapter plate is going to extend your VESA mounting pattern to accommodate that larger screen television. So this is going to have this 200 by 200 VESA mount that will allow you to attach to your TV mount with the included hardware here, and then it is gonna provide a wide variety of compatible mounting patterns for your televisions. So you've got your 300 millimeter by 300 millimeter pattern there, you've got your 300 millimeter by 400 millimeter pattern, as well as a 400 millimeter by 300 millimeter pattern, and a 400 millimeter by 400 millimeter pattern.
So make sure that your RV TV that you're wanting to get is gonna have one of those four options, and then, if it does, this is gonna be a very easy mount for you to get set up, connected to your RV TV mount, and then connect your TV to this adapter plate. This is constructed of a nice durable powder coated steel, so it is gonna hold up really well, you're not gonna have to worry about it being jostled around in your RV, this can hold up, can take all of that movement, and make sure that your TV is gonna be nice and safe. Weight limit determined by TV mount.If you have a front living 5th wheel with the motorized hideaway 200mmx200mm tv mount, and your tv mounting pattern is 300x400mm or 400x400mm this works great. In my case, my 55" tv had a 300x400mm pattern.
