Keep your fishing poles handy and secure on the deck of your boat with the stylish and functional RodBuckle. The 2" x 2' strap extends over your poles and locks into position on the deck to hold them in place. Strap retracts when not in use.

Specs:
- Dimensions: 2" wide x 24" long

Using the included mounting template, cut a hole in your boat's gunwale and install the strap housing and faceplate. Then screw the mounting plate into the deck. To secure your fishing rods, simply pull the strap out of the housing and hook it into the slot in the floor plate. When you unhook the strap, it automatically retracts back into the housing. The strap remains neatly tucked away until the next time you need it.
The concealed mounting kit (IMF14202; sold separately) allows you to better hide the strap, but requires a more difficult installation.

Look guys, Rodbuckles are hands down one of the best additions you can put on your boat. They're easy to install and look like a factory option. Not to mention they work great. For under 50 bucks you can keep thousands in rods and reels from flying off the deck of your boat. I'd also like to mention that etrailer had them at my door in no time. I am very well please with the product. Installs easily.It even came with a template to mark the hole for cutting. It improve the look of the boat and made it more functional.

Like the fact you can set it up hold down as many rods as you want definitely a upgrade id do any boat. Easy install works like it should does require cutting into boat so make sure you check for wires and such before cutting.

My bass boat came with the rod buckle tie downs as original equipment. They are an excellent product, convient to use and store well when not being used. The only problem I have is every once in a while I break the tie down on the end of the strap. The manufacture has replaced every one I have broken, but other than the manufacture I can not purchase just the end. The price of the product at e trailer is reasonable enough to purchase the whole unit. I now have (2) units on hand as spares.

Product is as advertised but after receiving I found it is way TOO WIDE to install on my boat. It is 2 1/2" tall and I only have 1 1/2" to work with. Guess I will just have to sell them to somebody that has a tall gunwale lip.

thanks for the follow up. Im still very happy with my rod buckles, and still think they are a must have for weekend enthusiasts up to professionals. The install was easy, and strapping down the rods only takes a second, which is important when time is crucial in tournament fishing. Anyway, great product, and thanks again.
