Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this horse trailer side pad. This is going to allow you to provide protection and comfort for your horse while it's trailered. Now, this pad is 60 inches long by 12 inches wide. This filled with a two inch thick foam. So it is gonna provide that padding and protection for your horse as it leans up against the side or make sure that if they we're to get pushed to the side by movement in your trailer, and it's gonna protect them from hitting up a hard surface.
This is covered with this durable black vinyl. The backside is a cardboard backing. And this does not come with mounting hardware but you should be able to very easily put some screws through there to hold it in place where you want it to be. So if you are looking for a 60 inch long trailer side pad this is gonna be a great option for you. That completes our look for today.

Received pads quickly and were exactly what I expected. Nice quality and price was reasonable. I had to custom make one pad and just for foam and vinyl at Walmart was $[XX] I also bought self tapping screws and washers from Fleet Farm which worked great and cheaper Would definitely check out etrailer for other products. Called with question on installation and got answered quickly

we got our order right away, and were able to fix up our old 2 horse trailer really well. It was hard to find the exact pad sizing we needed but we made due, we bought new pads for the middle divider, the chest pad and door pads. we had to fabricate the middle with plywood to fit it perfect but it came out really nice. I accidentally deleted our "after" pics or i would have shared them here. overall this place had the best pads to replace our whole trailer as it was hard used when we bought it.

Horse Trailer Pads are great quality and easy to add to the trailer.
Added the extra pad to the front of the slant load trailer which
makes it much more comfortable for the horse.

I was not aware of the construction of these, but I was surprised to find the backing material to be cardboard. Overal the pad works, but would have preferred a more sturdy backing material .

Exactly what was needed. Marked out where to mount then put industrial strength 2" wide Velcro on the back, placed on the divider and then mounted with screws. Works great, I even think my horse will be testing it out by leaning against.

You'll need to pick up #8 x 3/4" sized screws for this installation.

This will help spread out the surface area which means the pad is less likely to rip on the screw head. We typically recommend the Trailer Horse Pad Screw # PS-8 which has a small coned washer already on the screw.
