Today we're gong to be taking a look at the Brophy clevis mount for inch and a quarter trailer hitches. This hick mount and clevis is great for industrial and agriculture applications. It's going to use a three quarter inch diameter pin, that pin is sold separately. You can find them here at etrailer.com if you're in need of one. The platform with the hole, that can also be used as a ball mount platform for standard towing. The unit's made from a steel construction, see back here on the shank, that's a solid steel, we don't have any hollow points except for the cutout right here for the hitch pin and clip or the hitch pin and lock. Nice steel construction, it's going to have a black powder coat finish on it so it's going to be highly resistant from rust and corrosion, it's going to last a long time.
Now to get it secured in your hitch, you've got to slide this into your hitch, line up your pin holes and then secure it with a hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock. This is going to accept a standard half inch diameter pin. Those items are sold separately so if you're interested in a hitch pin and clip or a hitch pin and lock you can check out some options here at etrailer.com. The product is made in the USA, again it is designed for an inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter class two trailer hitch receiver. It's going to offer a maximum gross trailer weight of 3,500 pounds and a maximum towing weight capacity of 350 pounds. Again the diameter of this hole right here, this is going to be for the clevis pin or the shank of the ball that you'd want to install on here.
Diameter, that's going to be right at three quarters of an inch. The draw bar thickness just measuring the thickness of each piece right here, these are going to be identical so I'm just going to take a measurement of one, that's going to give us a thickness of a half inch. The distance between the bars, so just measuring the opening, that's going to measure an inch and a quarter. Take a look at the overall length, end to end, that's going to give us a measurement of nine inches. The last measurement I want to give you is from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the actual ball hole or pin hole on this clevis mount. Line that up on center, that looks to be pretty close to six and three eighths of an inch.

Product is exactly what I was looking for. I am a welder by trade but could not make one like this for the price. The hitch is doing it's thing.
I was very happy to get my Clevis inch quarter hitch right on time. This insert is great quality and exactly what I needed to complete a small utility trailer project. The price was a little high, but as I think this is a low volume sale item I guess the price is justified. Didn't matter as etrailer was the only place I could find it. Overall I am pleased with the purchase.

I am still very pleased with this clevis . It works exactly as advertised and as I planned. It makes hitching & unhitching the trailer quick and secure.
I needed to replace the ball hitch on my hydraulic log splitter with a clevis hitch so I could attach the log splitter to the rear blade on my tractor. During the summer I have a draw bar installed but during the winter I replace the draw bar with the blade. I received the clevis hitch today (ordered it less than a week ago) and am very favorably impressed with the heftiness of the materials and the quality of workmanship. I've already installed it on the splitter and am convinced that this will definitely meet my needs. Top quality product for a very reasonable price! Five stars all around.

Great.
What I was looking for and arrived fast with standard shipping, found product to match description. Very solid build for a 1-1/4" hitch, much thicker steel than the ATV hitch receiver. Competitive pricing when purchased. For use on Polaris Sportsman 570.
I needed a clevis mount for my Gator. Product arrived on time and was exactly as pictured on the web site. I have a number of different hitches and mounts and this unit is better constructed and painted than most. It also was the least expensive mount that I found on the internet.
Although this product did not work for my application, the product is great. The fault is mine as I did not measure properly. I would definitely buy from etrailer .com again.
