This roller assembly supports your boat's keel for easy loading and safe transport on your trailer. It features a 10-inch, black rubber keel roller and a galvanized steel panel bracket with slotted mounting holes for adjustability.

Typically installed upright on the rear and middle crossmembers of a boat trailer, keel roller panel bracket assemblies to keep the boat moving while it is being loaded and to stabilize the keel.
Galvanized Steel
Galvanized steel parts are hot-dipped in zinc after being stamped. This creates a coating that is typically 3 mil to 5 mil thick. This thick, all-around coating allows galvanized steel products to provide years of use without rusting or corroding.

Etrailer has become my go-too place for anything trailer related. I have three boats and always seem to be upgrading my trailers after much repeated saltwater use and long distance towing. I used these grooved rollers on my 18 ft CC replacing some small, weak non-tapered type. I always had issues with those narrow rollers especially loading in any kind of cross wind conditions. These rollers center you out and keep you in much better alignment. They're a good buy especially when paired with the galvanized mounting plate. I would recommend these to anyone that has had problems keeping a boat on track while loading.

I’m very satisfied with this product. I found the videos describing this product and how to install it most helpful. I already installed it on my sailboat trailer. etrailer.com also responded to my questions that I sent via email about the weight distribution between the keel rollers and bunks. Good quality construction - nice and rugged. Installed easily onto a new trailer. Seems to be holding up fine. The black roller is leaving a mark on the white keel of my boat. Not a big issue but it would be nice to have the roller not leaving a mark. I don't recall there being an option on this item with a non-marring roller. Overall satisfied. Thanks.

If you need a 12 inch roller you can use CE Smith Deep V Keel Roller part # CE10405G which is 12 inches wide. The mounting slot distance is 10 inches apart.

Worked great - I personally don't like those " press on " cap ends to hold roller pin in so got threaded bolt on both ends and put " no loosen nuts" on end. Other than that well built roller and etrailer is the bomb for parts - fast shipping and great folks on the phone.

CE Smith rollers have a well galvanized base plate and are robust. They will last a long time in the salt environment!

- Correct Roller Shaft for CE Smith Side Guide Roller for Boat TrailersThe reason that you are having difficulty finding a roller shaft for the CE Smith Side Guide Roller # CE29562 is because it is the replacement middle roller for the CE Smith Roller-Style Guide-Ons # CE27610. For this application you would use something like the 12-3/4" x 1/2" # CE10705A because there needs to be some extra length for the end pieces. If you are needing a standard roller then I recommend the Yates Keel Roller # YR10000 which is 10" long and works great with the 11" x 5/8"...

But I really would need to see a picture of your trailer to get specific on how it would install. The hardware isn't included but U-bolts would work.
