The hitch is great. I like how the structure tucks behind the fascia so that just the hitch shows, and I believe this also provides additional clearance from the ground. If you are just a little mechanically inclined, and have the right tools, install is very straightforward and easy. Only took me about an hour.

Has potential for 5 stars lost a star for poor instructions. Included instructions were crumpled and torn but black and white photos were what made process the most difficult. The box it came in was nice to lay on during Install. The etrailer video was helpful.

Love this hitch. I really like the hidden cross tube. Installation video was spot on, made the process easy to follow.

  • Will the eTrailer or Curt Hitch for a 2019 Honda Odyssey Work With Hands Free Life-Gate
The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C64NR and etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98855 are both fits for a 2019 Honda Odyssey (All Models). I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver because it will be more hidden once installed. In regard to the hands free lift-gate feature, this will be limited with either but should not be entirely blocked. Therefore, you can still activate the sensor by placing your foot on either side of the receiver tube opening but it should not be...

  • Comparison of Curt Hitches Available for 2020 Honda Odyssey
The primary difference between the available hitches is how concealed they are. The hitch manufacturers heard from folks saying that they loved the convenience of a hitch for towing or attaching hitch mounted accessories but weren't so fond of the appearance of a big hunk of metal hanging under the rear bumper. Many of the hitch manufacturers took this to heart and began designing hitches that install so that the hitch crossbar is concealed behind the rear bumper, with only the receiver...

  • Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendation for 2018 Honda Odyssey that Allows Rear Cargo Area Access
My favorite bike rack to recommend for rear cargo area access is the Thule Apex Swing part # TH9027XT because it can carry up to 4 bikes and can swing out and away from the rear of the vehicle to give you complete access to the rear cargo area with bikes loaded. The arms of the rack can also fold down when not in use so that the bike rack doesn't take up much space as well. Check out the review video I attached for more info on this rack as well. Since you plan on carrying any womens or...

  • Comparing EcoHitch to Curt Hidden Crossbar Hitch on 2020 Honda Odyssey
The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 306-X7372 and the Curt # C64NR are nearly identical with the difference being the manufacturer and the fact that EcoHitch uses recycled material to make their hitch so it is more environmentally friendly. The Curt # C64NR has a lower cost.

  • Recommendation and Differences Between Available Trailer Hitches for 2020 Honda Odyssey
Both Class II and III hitches are available for the 2020 Odyssey. Because there's a much better selection of hitch mounted accessories for the more common Class III hitches, that's what I'll typically recommend. Of the Class III hitches, the primary difference between them is how concealed the hitch itself is once it's installed. The etrailer.com brand Class III hitch, part # e98855 would be completely visible under the rear bumper when installed. The same would hold true for the Curt...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch for 2018 Honda Odyssey with Easiest Installation
For your 2018 Honda Odyssey, I definitely recommend going with the etrailer Class III Round Tube Hitch # e98855. This particular trailer hitch has an estimated installation time for somebody with some experience of around 30 minutes. We rate the installation difficulty at a 3 out of 10, meaning it is a fairly simple process if you are comfortable with car maintenance. Some minor trimming of the underbody panel will be required, and you will need to temporarily lower the exhaust during installation. This...

  • What is the Difference Between the Draw-Tite Hitch and etrailer Hitch for 2020 Honda Odyssey?
This is a great question- to start, both of them will fit on your 2020 Honda Odyssey and they both have the same 2" receiver and towing capacity. The difference between the etrailer Hitch # e98855 leaves the cross tube of the hitch completely visible where the Curt # C64NR has a more concealed cross tube and only leaves the receiver exposed; this provides just a little bit of extra ground clearance at the rear and is going to be especially helpful when pulling in and out of driveways...

  • Hidden Trailer Hitch and Trailer Wiring Recommendation for 2020 Honda Odyssey
There are two trailer hitches with a hidden crosstube that fit your 2020 Honda Odyssey, the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7372 and Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C64NR. Between these two, I highly recommend the Curt hitch because it is far more economical than the EcoHitch for the same functionality. The only difference is that the EcoHitch is made of an alloy of recycled metals, while the Curt is made from steel. Otherwise, the Curt is simply the better value and what I...

  • Recommended Hitch for Trailer Hitch Mounted Accessories on 2020 Honda Odyssey
With a minivan, the hitch tongue weight clearance and its ground clearance are the two main things you'll need to contend with regarding using hitch mounted accessories. The Curt Class III receiver, part # C64NR features a crossbar that is mainly concealed behind the bumper fascia. It has a respectable 525 lb tongue weight capacity. It also has the best ground clearance of the Class III hitches at approximately 12-1/4 inches between the ground and the underside of the receiver tube. Because...

  • Differences Between Available Class III Hitch Options for 2020 Honda Odyssey
Both hitches would share the same 525 lb tongue weight/3500 lb towing GTW towing capacity, but the similarities would end there. The Curt # C64NR is a concealed design, meaning that the majority of the hitch would be concealed behind the Odyssey's bumper when the hitch is installed with just the receiver and safety chain loops being visible. Because of the concealed design, the bumper cover would need removal to install the hitch and would be reinstalled afterward. The Curt # C13370 is...

  • Kayak Carrier Recommended for Old Town Heron Kayaks on Yakima Y08107 Rack and Roll Trailer
For a fairly economical way to transport your three kayaks on the # Y08107 Rack and Roll trailer, I'd recommend going with the Malone FoldAway # MAL38FR for two kayaks and the # MAL98FR for the third. I looked up your kayaks, and found that Old Town lists the weight of the solo as being about 40 lbs with a length of 9-1/2 feet and the tandems as being 60 lbs each with a length of 13-1/2 feet. The kayaks sizes and weights would be compatible with both the Rack and Roll trailer and the carriers...

  • Highest Ground Clearance Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2021 Honda Odyssey
The Class III hitch with the best ground clearance for a 5th generation Honda Odyssey like your 2021 model would be the Curt # C64NR which would provide about 12 inches of ground clearance under the receiver tube. This hitch would also be the least visible and would have the crossbar tucked up behind the bumper/fascia. This adds to the installation difficulty but really helps provide additional ground clearance (1-1/2 inches more clearance than the # e98855 that you'd looked at). In addition...

  • Does Bumper of 2020 Honda Odyssey Need to be Trimmed to Install Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch C64NR
There is some trimming of the fascia required when installing on your 2020 Honda Odyssey when you are installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C64NR. The only trimming required is a 1.75" x4" section of the bottom appearance panel, which is separate from the actual bumper; trimming this section is needed for access to the frame and won't affect your Odyssey at all. I also wanted to mention, if you do plan on towing with your 2020 Odyssey and need a trailer wiring harness, the correct...

  • Hidden Trailer Hitch and Trailer Wiring Recommendation for 2019 Honda Odyssey
The hitch and wiring kits for a 2019 Honda Odyssey are the same as the 2018 models. The etrailer.com hitch part # E95588 is a fit for either. The other hitch I would recommend though is the Curt part # C64NR as only the hitch opening will hang below the rear bumper which makes it the least visible. For wiring the best option is the T-One kit part # 118753 which is a custom fit and the brand we offer that has the most reliable converter boxes. If you wanted to do some towing you might...

  • What is Difference Between Curt C64NR Hitch and etrailer Hitch that Fit 2019 Honda Odyssey
The main differences between the two 2 inch hitches that fit your 2019 Honda Odyssey is that the # e98855 is a bit easier to install whereas the # C64NR is much less visible since only the hitch opening hangs below the rear bumper which also greatly increase ground clearance. I would go with the # e98855 for the easier install if you don't mind it being seen!

The Thule # TH9027XT Apex Swing and the Curt Class III # C64NR hitch will work perfectly with your 2020 Honda Odyssey. When the distance the hitch receiver is recessed under the vehicle is compared to the necessary clearance between the bumper and the nearest upright portion of the bike rack are compared, I found that there's plenty of room to spare. I've linked you to an installation video for the hitch and a demonstration video for the Thule Apex Swing bike rack.

  • Lock for Hollywood Racks Destination Rack and Can it Fit 2018 Honda Odyssey

This is a cable lock setup that you'd route through the bikes and rack to secure everything. As long as you have a hitch installed on your 2018 Honda Odyssey like the Curt # C64NR this rack would fit and work great.

  • Trailer Hitch for a 2020 Honda Odyssey with the Best Ground Clearance
We carry three 2 inch trailer hitches that fit the 2020 Honda Odyssey: Curt # C64NR, a Curt # C13370, and one from us # E98855. All of them are basically the same design except for the Curt # C64NR. When we installed it on a 2018 Odyssey it was an inch higher than the other hitches, which were the same. I recommend the etrailer.com hitch, # e98855. Since they're all very similar and this one has the matte finish over the glossy black of most hitches it is my choice.

  • Hitch and Swinging Bike Rack Recommendation for 2020 Honda Odyssey
Tilting Bike Racks like the Thule Camber # TH9058 would need to have the bikes removed before the rack can be tilted rearward, because the bikes would hit the ground and not only damage them but would also prevent the rack from fully tilting down. This is definitely not the most convenient thing if you need to be constantly in and out of the cargo area of your Odyssey. I'd recommend a swinging bike rack like the USA manufactured SportRack Ridge Swing # SR2415. This rack would allow full...

  • Ball Mount For Curt Hitch on 2019 Honda Odyssey For 4x8 U-Haul Trailer
We can definitely help you get exactly what you need to tow a 4 x 8 U-Haul trailer with your 2019 Honda Odyssey and the Curt Hitch # C64NR. According to U-Haul, their coupler height is 18 inches, and when we installed this Curt hitch on a 2019 Odyssey we found that the distance from the ground to the top of the receiver was 14-1/2 inches. So you'll need a ball mount with approximately 3-1/2 inches of rise, though you can go within an inch or so either way without any issue. There is an...

We can help you with that. I have two hitches to recommend, the etrailer brand # e98855 and the Curt # C64NR. The primary difference between the two is that the crossbar area of the Curt # C64NR hitch will be concealed behind the rear bumper fascia, with only the receiver tube being visible. The etrailer brand is much easier to install but will be much...

Because the rack holds the bikes by the bottom of the tires and either by the top tube or the seat post tube, it'll work with bikes that have fenders and women's bikes with step-thru frames. • Comparing Curt 2 Inch Hitch Option With the etrailer Hitch Option for 2020 Honda Odyssey
You are correct, both the etrailer hitch, # e98855 and # C64NR are confirmed to fit your 2020 Honda Odyssey. However, there are a few details that differentiate the two. The main thing that sets these two apart is that the Curt # C64NR has a concealed design, so (aside from the square receiver) it's completely hidden behind the bumper, as opposed to the # e98855 which is quite visible. For this reason, I recommend choosing the # C64NR. That being said, because of the hidden design, to...
