What is the Difference Between the Draw-Tite Hitch and etrailer Hitch for 2020 Honda Odyssey?

Question:

I have a 2020 Honda Odyssey and am looking for a hitch that can be used with our hitch mounted bike rack. I'm noticing Curt hitch and the etrailer hitch but don't know the difference? Which one fits my van?

This is a great question- to start, both of them will fit on your 2020 Honda Odyssey and they both have the same 2" receiver and towing capacity.

The difference between the etrailer Hitch # e98855 leaves the cross tube of the hitch completely visible where the Curt # C64NR has a more concealed cross tube and only leaves the receiver exposed; this provides just a little bit of extra ground clearance at the rear and is going to be especially helpful when pulling in and out of driveways that have a slightly raised entry. When choosing between the 2, I always recommend the # C64NR because of the concealed cross tube and extra ground clearance you get; it simply looks better and you won't have to worry about tearing it up when pulling in and out of your driveway.

If you're in the market for a new bike rack, you really should check out the Thule Apex XT 5 # TH9026XT. The Apex XT 5 is a hanging bike rack that can carry up to 5 bikes-enough for the whole family! On top of the high quality associated with Thule, this hanging rack tilts away from the rear of the vehicle to allow for easy access to the rear cargo area of your Odyssey and dual folding arms for easy storage when it's not in use. This rack comes with integrated bike and hitch locks for added security.
