Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a 24 LED strobe warning light. This oval LED recessed strobe light features 24 bright LED's in an impact resistant plastic housing. We have 12 white LED's and 12 amber LED's, which you'll see here in a moment when I hook it up to power, but you cans see the difference kinda in this line right here. So, white and amber. It has 12 to 24 volt power range, and includes a grommet for mounting, and the PL-3 plug for installation. This is rated IP67 for water and dust resistance.

This light helps you stay visible while on the road, and offers a few different flash patterns to choose from, which I'll show you in a moment. It is a LED system, which LED's make great replacements for incandescent lights, they last longer, they burn brighter, they're more efficient. With LED's you don't have to worry about changing or replacing bulbs, or worry about burned out filaments.It's a five wire design, so here on the main plug, we have three wires. White is our ground, black is positive power for dual flash, red is positive power for quad flash, so those are a couple different flash patterns. And then you can connect the red and black wires together for six fold flash pattern.

When it comes to these two wires, your yellow and green wires are for connecting multiple lights and synchronizing or alternating the flash pattern. It comes with detailed installation instructions, that shows you how to wire it depending on your application and what you wanna get out of this light. Now one light is included, so if you're gonna connect multiple lights then you'll need to get a few other lights to synchronize or connect together. It's SAE J595 Class 2 rated. When it comes to the dimensions of just measuring the light, so just measuring the lens area, it's about 6.5 inches by 2 and a quarter.

The cut out at the installation area needs to measure 6 and three quarter inches by 2.5 inches. We're gonna go and hook it up to power, that way you can see what it looks like with some power running to it. And we'll go through the different flash patterns that it offers.So first we're gonna do the black wire, which is a dual flash pattern. So you can see that sends out a nice, bright, consistent signal, we got a good mix there between the white LED's and the amber LED's. I'm gonna disconnect the black and connect the red, so this would give us our quad flash pattern.

And then I'm gonna connect the black and red wires together, which would give us our six fold flash pattern. So nice, bright design, plenty of light output. Now again, this light contains a total of 24 diodes, or 24 LED's, so the multi diode design really helps optimize the overall light output. And the amperage is 0.5 amps at 12 volts.
