Speaker 1: Today we're gonna be taking a look at the three and a half inch amber ultra thin surface mount rectangular strobe light with three LEDs. The strobe light's gonna have three LEDs and 12 flash patterns with synchronous and alternating functions. Most commonly gonna be used on pickup trucks, trailers, and service vehicles. It's gonna include screws and self adhesive tape for simple fastening.It's gonna have an ultra thin profile design to it, so it's only gonna be about a quarter inch thick. So it's gonna fit into really tight spaces. The LEDs are gonna make a great replacement over incandescent lights, because they're gonna last 50 times longer and be a lot more efficient.

They're gonna provide a brighter light with less power output, and we're not gonna have to worry about any bulbs to replace, or any brittle filaments inside.It's gonna have a black housing, and a clear lens with amber LEDs. Now, it is a service mount design, and as far as the wiring goes, it's gonna have a three wire. Our black wire is gonna be our ground, our white wire is gonna be for our power, and our brown wire is gonna serve two functions. It's gonna be for syncing up other strobe lights, as well as picking our flash pattern.Now, the light is gonna be IPX8 rated for water resistance, and have an SAEJ595 Class 1 rating, and a CA13 certification. I'd like to give you a few dimensions on the light itself.

The light's gonna come in right at 3 and 7/16" long. It's gonna be 1 and 3/16" tall, and it is gonna be right about a quarter inch thick.We're gonna have eight inches of length of wire coming out of the back, and again, it is gonna have those three diodes in there. It's gonna work with 12 and 20 volt hold systems, and at 12 volts it's gonna be pulling at half an amp. I'll go ahead and hook up our light so we can see the output, as well as some of the flash patterns. Go ahead and hook up our power and ground wire.

Turn on my power source.You can see how bright it is, and you can see if I touch my brown wire to the power source, it's gonna change the flash pattern. I'll go ahead and turn off the overhead light so we can really get an idea of how bright it is. You can see just with these three LEDs, it's gonna provide a really bright flood pattern, and that nice amber color. Go ahead and turn our overhead light back on, turn our power source off, and disconnect our wires.
