Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a 12 LED beacon light. This low-profile beacon light features 12 LEDs and three flash patterns to keep your vehicle visible on the road.It is IP56 rated to repel water and dust. It's an LED system. LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights. They last longer, they burn brighter, and they're more efficient. With LEDs you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs or worry about brittle filaments.

The unit features a nice black housing, it's got the amber lens. This is a die-cast aluminum base that allows for permanent mounting, so you'll notice that it has three mount holes already formed into the base and then it does come with the necessary mounting hardware as well as a foam gasket for installation.Now that die-cast base has a patter coated finish so it's going to be kept safe from rust and corrosion. Also aluminum is rush and corrosion resistant already. Two wire design and it's protected with a nice wire casing and then we have our two individual wires. We have our black wire which is our ground wire, and then we have a red wire which is our power wire.When it comes to the dimensions of the unit, starting with the overall height from bottom to top, it measures about 2-5/16th inches tall and then diameter of the base edge to edge that gives us a measurement of about 5-7/8th inches.Now, again, I did mention that this light offers three flash patterns.

To change between the flash patterns, all you've got to do is remove the lens and then there's a button right here in the middle that allows you to change between they flash patterns. It's a 12 LED or 12 diode design. I'm going to go and hook it up to power and I'll show you what it looks like with power running to it. Then we can also turn off our overhead lights so you can see it in a lower light setting. It sends out a really nice clear consistent signal.

Now the lens is amber but the LEDs are white so when you're ready to change the flash pattern you take the lens off, you push the button, and it's got three different flash patterns to choose from. So once you go through the three, and then you hit for the fourth time, it will go back to the flash pattern number one.Again 12 diodes so the multi-diode design really helps optimize the overall light output. Wattage is 12W. It will work on 12-24V systems and the amperage at 12V is 1A.And that's going to do it for today's look at the 12 LED beacon light.
