Video Transcript for Review of Roadmaster Trailer Wiring - Trailer Connectors - RM-910030-2

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we've gonna take a look at this Roadmaster Trailer and Four Wire Connector. Now this part here, will let you create your own cord or replace the damaged ends on your Roadmaster four wire straight and the Roadmaster Flexicoil electrical cords that have this four-way female connector on it. Basically, I wanted to show you how you install your wires in this. What you'll first wanna do is find where that little Phillip screw is right there and then you'll get a little Phillip screwdriver and then you'll just loosen that screw. And then once you get that screw out, you'll see that the whole inside will slide right out.

Pull off the cover and then you'll have your connections right there. So what you'll want to do is run your wires through the back here, through this grommet, pull your wires through there, slide on this sleeve onto the wires and then make your connections to the correct correction or the correct points on your connector there. Once you get that, slide the sleeve up to cover those and then slide the whole unit right back in there. Line up the hole there, get your Phillips screw and then just line that up. And then once you get that lined up, go ahead and put the screw in there and then just tighten it down just like that and snug it down to hold it in place and then you'll be all ready to go.

But that should do it for the review on this Roadmaster trailer and four wire connector.

Perfect replacement for Roadmaster four prong trailer connector. Decent quality and great price. Quick shipping.

by:

Replacement for an older vehicle, arrived as promised.

by:

This plug seems to be of decent quality. I was unable to use though as the 4 pin socket I bought is incompatible. I was (falsely it turns out) under the impression that a round 4 pin was a round 4 pin. The Pollak PK11404 receptacle has 1 pin of one size and the other 3 pins slightly larger. Just an FYI.

  • 4-Way Round to 7-Way Blade and 7-Way Round to 7-Way Round Adapter Availability
Those adapter configurations aren't high enough in demand to be available but you can definitely make them. For a 4-way round male you'd need part # RM-910030-2 and for a 7-way female part # PK12703. For jacketed 4-way wiring sold by the foot you'd then want the part # DW04923-1. Then for a 7-way male round you'd want the part # PK11700 and for female part # PK11720 and then for wiring part # DW04914-1 which is also sold by foot.

  • Is There a 4 Round to 7 Round Adapter
We have a possible solution for you but there is no such thing as a 4-round to 7-round adapter; you would need to make your own. What you could do is use the Custer Trailer Connector Adapter - 4-Way Flat to 7-Way Round # KIT-7P-4, cut off the 4-way flat and wire in the RoadMaster 4-Wire Connector # RM-910030-2.

  • Replacing a 4 Round to Both RV and Tow Vehicle Pigtail
The wiring for the male connector is the upper right (3 position) is Left Turn and Stop, Lower Right (1 Position) Ground, Lower Left (2 position) Tailights, and Upper Left (4 position) Right Turn and Stop. I have included a diagram showing the corresponding wiring that is explained in the installation instructions for your reference. Please make sure that you are wire by function not just by wire color, and I recommend testing the output on your RV to make sure this is done correctly....

  • Connecting Roadmaster Sterling Tow Bar Wiring Extension To Jeep with 4-Pin Round Connector
I have a solution for you, but we do not have a pre-wired adapter to allow you to connect the 6-pin round plug from the tow bar to a 4-pin round plug on your Jeep. One solution is to replace the 4-pin round connector on your jeep with a 6-pin round socket, # RM-910030-7. The Sterling Tow Bar # RM-576 includes a 6-pin round socket that will work well to replace the 4-pin round socket on your Jeep. You can remove the wires from the 4-pin connector, taking the connector apart with a small...

  • How To Wire 4-Way Round Connector For Flat Towing A 2006 Honda CR-V
First off thank you for purchasing your flat tow products through us! The RoadMaster 4-Wire Connector # RM-910030-2 you were looking at is not color coded for wiring on the connector itself, but I would be happy to help make sure you get it wired correctly. The typical way a 4-way round connector is wired is as shown in the included diagram. If your 4-way round is not wired in the manner, or if the wire colors on your existing cord are not the standard green, yellow, brown, and white,...

Yes, the RoadMaster Blackhawk 2 All Terrain Tow Bar - 10,000 lbs part # RM-422 will work to tow your 1995 Honda Delsol. In order to mount the tow bar to your Delsol AND to your RV you will need Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms - 1995 Del Sol by Honda part # 510-1. This mounts to the front of your Delsol and is what the tow bars attach to so you are able to tow your vehicle. Due to the variances on the lower panels, trimming the splash panel may be required.
