I rewired my light bar for my boat trailer with the items I purchased. Before I built the the light bar, every time I used my boat trailer I would waste valuable sailing or fishing time repairing faulty lights. The do not last long when you submerge them in salt water. This light bar now version 3.0 have given little trouble over the years

by:

Great product.
Works well when I had
a broken connection on my 4 way plug end on my light-up hitch cover I bought from y'all a while back.
Always a happy customer.
Thanks, George.

by:

Plug came in today, light did not. I ordered from here because it said both would be here Friday. Called company. Was told I could return light but would have to pay fee, because promised arrival date was a guesstimate.

by:

This is a nicely designed product. My only disappointment was that the wires could have been longer, perhaps 12 or 18 inches longer so it extends to the trailer harness better and is more visually appealing.

by:

This product will be an additional backup item. I used the other Easy Pull connector, but on my truck end the flapper door is spring loaded and puts too much downward pressure on trailer connector. Maybe that's why original trailer connector had a broken pin.

Thank you, and everything still working great. I still browse your site checking out items.

by:

item came as expected and is exactly what i needed -a trailer connector that will resist fraying at the point where the wires meet the connector ,nice and strong at that point, will last years instead of months.

its still the best ever ...will replace old wiring that has frayed or prevent such from occurring

by:

I actually got the idea from a trailer I rented once. You permanently mount this somewhere behind the coupler where it won’t get damaged and use an extension. It’s a lot faster and easier to replace a damaged extension wire than to solder a new plug onto your trailer wiring if(when) it gets damaged. I used mine on a 4x8’ utility trailer that I pull with my truck on the road and with a utility tractor off road, you don’t have to worry about the wiring for the lights hanging down dragging the ground getting damaged, you just remove the extension and put the weather cover on it when you’re off highway and don’t need the lights.

Shawn B. (& everyone I talked with at E Trailer) was wonderful.
Great phone support. Great products. We did a great job installing the wiring harness.
Made me wonder why we originally took it to a "professional" trailer sales & service place in Ogden UT. They hacked into our wiring & created problems.
I will continue to be a grateful customer.
Finding good people who know their stuff in todays world is a soul healing event.
Thank you E Trailer!

by:

quality item, much better than the plug that came on my trailers wiring harness, hence the need to replace it. Soldered the new to the harness and covered with heat shrink. Fast service and better quality than offered at the big box stores. well worth paying the shipping charges.

by:

This was the perfect replacement for the old connector on my boat trailer with 18-guage wiring and 16-guage ground. Replacement was very easy. I just cut off the old connector and splice this one in its place using heat shrink butt end connectors. Fits very snuggly into my vehicle side connector, unlike the old connector I replaced.

by:

With the help of an internet video, I joined this and a seven-pin female to create an adapter to connect my newly-purchased car to my travel trailer. It allowed me to get the trailer home pending a more permanent wiring change for the car. I was very pleased.

by:

Ordered two Enhanced Trailer Connector.
They
arrived on time, and met all my expectations
Thanks

Work on the advertised

by:

Great connector. Easy to use, environmental cap will be great to prevent pins corroding. Make sure you buy splices because product does not come with them. All in all, a great and easy product to use and install.

Adding dielectric grease to the connectors can be a big help at prevent corrosion on those contacts.

by:

Sturdy plug, I like that it has a cover. Doesn't come with connectors like some of the others do, so be sure to order those, too. I used 3M snap, butt connectors would've been less bulky for the location. Shipped quickly, as always. Love Etrailer!

by:

Comes with documentation about wiring and a grease packet to put on the contacts to prevent corrosion. Wires are black with a colored stripe for identification per the documentation in the package.

Good sealed connector. Having the functions marked on each wire is great...no worry about color coding differences between different vintagesmodels of trailers or vehicles.

by:

Purchased this wire harness and the plastic cover has stayed intact protecting wires from weather. After 1 year it's still workin great.

by: 04/13/2023

It is as described, nothing fancy but gets the job done

by:

This is the one to buy. We hook-up and unhook our trailers on a daily basis. The wiring takes a beating. This product is fantastic. It has been reinforced around the housing and the base of the wires. The rubber on the side are excellent. They will have to keep our drivers from tearing the wires from the housing.

by:

So far the product has worked great. with that said it has only been on the trailer for a week so only time will tell :) it looks and feels to be built with great strength. I don't foresee any issue with it but as I said only time will tell. Transaction process was smooth and shipment from retailer was fast! Look forward to doing all future trailer business with etrailer.com again.

by:

High quality product available at half the price or more than other merchandise providers. eTrailer's ordering process, shipping, timely delivery , and customer services were on target.

by:

A common problem with flat connectors is the ability to get a grip on them as you try to engage or disengage them. The ears on this one allow for a much better grip.

by:

I bought this for my utility trailer, the weather proof cover for the plug is a nice touch and should help keep the pins from rusting.

by:

Received the 4 wire flat pigtail after a couple days and wired it to the other component and it all worked great. Would definitely recommend this to others. I had to replace an old damaged part with this exact match.

by:

Good product. Clearly marked wire pigtail (in multiple languages), perfect fit to OEM 4-pin harness and a nice braided sleeve.

by:

As always an easy shopping experience at etrailer. This product was exactly what I needed at a great price.

Like most motorcycle trailers your trailer uses separate turn signals. Meaning the turn signals and the brake lights are on different bulbs/circuits. Or you can convert the trailer connector to match the vehicle connector, once it is installed. • Could Adapter 4 Way Flat to 6 Way Square for Jayco Fit Palomino Pop Up
The 6-way square you have on your Palomino will be the same as the Jayco adapter part # 30104 but Jayco likes to use their own pin out setup so most likely the wiring won't match although the connectors will fit together. So you'd have to swap some wires around. I attached a review video for this for you to check out as well. You will need to replace the 3-way connector you have on your trailer with a 4-way. I am not sure why the guy sold you a 3-way as that would be a very non-standard wiring setup. The green wire circuit is most likely your right turn/stop and the brown wire is most likely the running lights. Trying to run both of these circuits on the same wire wouldn't work and is most likely why you don't have running lights anymore.
