Parts Needed to Create 7-Way Male to 4-way Trailer Side Adapter
Question:
I need a 7 prong male end that goes to the trailer female slots to adapt to a truck 4 plug. Has three female ports with one male so the adapter end Will be 3 males and one female. I did purchase a 7 plug male How do you open it to attach the wires

Sounds like you need a 7-way male to 4-way trailer side adapter which you'd have to make since that configuration isn't commonly needed. The part # PK12716 is the opposite configuration and does not open up to redo it. You'd need the part # A7WCB and then wire the 4-way part number # HM48110 to it.
