Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a Two-Way Die Cast Zinc Trailer Connector for the trailer side. This trailer connector is a round, terminal slot trailer side connector with horizontal pin arrangement. It attaches to an existing trailer wiring lead and is commonly used to make a power connection between the vehicle, and a trailer mounted accessory such as a wench or electric tarp.It features a durable, die cast zinc construction with a spring style cable guard to help protect your wiring. The finger tabs on the unit make for easy connecting and disconnecting and to gain access to the back of the plug to make your wiring connections. So you'll notice right here, we have positive side, negative side.To gain access to the back of that plug to connect the trailer wiring leads, basically you would take your leads and you'd place them all the way through here. You'd remove this set screw all the way and that allows the front of the unit to come out completely, push the wiring through, make your connections, place the front back in, reinstall the set screw and then back here, this screw controls an internal strain relief bracket that you can tighten down to secure the wiring so it doesn't accidentally get pulled on or pulled out and just helps reduce the amount of strain placed on the connection points and internally.But that's gonna do it for today's look at the Two-Way Die Cast Zinc Trailer Connector for the trailer side..

Quality products just make sure you order same ends make and female, i accidentally ordered vertical male with horizontal female trailer connectors and realized it after I installed them and had to re order.
Heavy duty I use it for my boat wench
I think the way the wires mount on the inside is a poor set up normally they have a set screw to hold the wires in this one you need to solder the wires in. The metal is thick so is very hard to get it hot for the solder to even melt.
The product that I ordered was exactly what I received and was very good quality and came quickly will definitely use etrailer again when the need arises.
