Today we're going to be taking a look at the RC Industries underbody truck or trailer toolbox. The product is made right here in the U.S.A. This toolbox provides extra storage space for your tools and gear. It's a very heavy duty, well-built box, nice consistent welds all around the unit. We're going to take a look at some of the dimensions real quick but before we do that I'm just going to go ahead and spin it all the way around so you can get a good look at it. Taking a look at the overall length of the unit measuring edge-to-edge, it's going to give us a length measurement of 36 inches long.
The height measurement, that's going to give us a measurement of 18 inches tall and the width or depth measurement, that's going to measure 18 inches as well. Again, really a nice design, constructed of a sturdy steel construction. It's going to feature a black powder-coated finish that does a great job at resisting rust and corrosion. That way the unit lasts a long time and it looks good for a long time. Right here at the front you're going to have a stainless steel T-handle for easy operation. It has a really nice easy grip design to it.
It's also lockable so with it in the locked position it's going to provide security to your gear. Cannot get that undone. It's also going to have a heavy duty rod-style hinge for years of hard service. Stick one of the keys in there, unlock it and then that's how the box opens. It's going to have the heavy duty chains that hold the door in the open position as well. Going around the opening we're going to have a one-piece neoprene door seal so that's not going to let any water in and it's also going to just keep moisture, dirt and debris out of the box.
We'll take a measurement of the opening size that we have. The opening going this direction, 32 inches. Up and down, that's going to give us an opening of 14 inches. The opening right here, 32 x 14. Mounting brackets and hardware are not included so those will need to be provided separately.
Again, it's a very well built box. Nice heavy duty construction all the way around. That's going to do it for today's look at the RC Industries underbody truck or trailer toolbox.

On the lock nice design and good mechanism
I like them. But the only thing is that part of the lock is plastic it seems like too easy to break I would like that too be metal.other then that this tool boxes are good.
Items arrived in much shorter period of time and i have already installed. Great product choice and more than I expected.

It was damaged during shipping. I guess the delivery person drug it in the garage scraping the paint off the sides.
Other than that the tool box looks good. Just hate spending so much money to have it damaged during shipping.

Name tag in picture is off, it's an RC Box. Great boxes, this was a replacement box due to the last one getting destroyed when the truck got t-boned by a honda civic. The box and honda were totaled, the truck was unscathed. Great box, would definitely recommend.
