Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.

They didn’t work out I took all four tires off the trailer and replaced them with providers
This is a serious tire. Just what I needed for my two axle 18,000 lbs rated trailer that I carry tractors around on.
Excellent customer service and free shipping was awesome and very fast, tire was on back order, but still received just 2 days after shipped!

I purchased 4 of these Westlake G rated tires to replace the original same tires on my fifth wheel travel trailer. I had excellent wear and durability with the first set so I purchased the same again. Martha was my salesperson and she was great. The order process went smoothly and the tires shipped promptly. Far exceeded my expectations, the tires arrived in two days and they’re all spot on! Caylin was efficient and I was informed throughout the process. I replaced all six of my Goodyear Marathons with the Westlake G Rated Trailer Tires because of it’s enhanced construction, it provides confidence in towing heavy loads while Rv’ng coast to coast. My 2010 Keystone Raptor stands a little taller now. HOOH-AH.

Second time ordering these tires. However if you take advantage of the free shipping from etrailer.com don’t expect your order fee to be delivered on the estimated delivery date. My ordered arrived 2 days late and the customer service rep acted like I should of paid for expedite shipping because they are busy this time of year.
Tires came new but 1.4 years old. It’s august 23 and the tires were 16th and 17th week of 2022
Wow I ordered 5 Westlake tires on 4/9/23 and they were delivered on 4/12/23 with free delivery very fast etrailer has my business for ever these tires are for my 5th wheel
My 4 Westlake tires were delivered on time and in perfect condition. The DOT codes on three tires were the exact week and year of manufacture and one was only manufactured three weeks earlier. These are great results as age is more of a facture than tread wear in the RV world. I will be using the new tires on my heavy 16k lb. 5th wheel and moving one of my best old tires to be the Spare.
Really impressed with the 4k+ load rating and 14 bias ply tread of tire and the "G" rating as well. Big upgrades from my last tires.

etrailer is fantastic. Have had two more thread separations on Westlakes. Tire shop said the steel belts separated due to manufacture process. I’m done with Westlakes running Sailuns now.
