Fit was great and replacement went smoo thly.

by:

The equalizers fit great, and the pin holes are the correct size to accept bronze bushings! I have found that some other places sell equalizers with oversize holes that will not hold bronze bushings. I appreciate you selling good parts that are made properly !

I ordered two this for my trailer, after receiving them I noticed one was defective. I called etrailer and spoke with Donna, she took care of it right away. Very happy with the parts and etrailer's customer service.

by:

I've been looking for a equalizer like this for the longest time. My trailer had a stamp steel version of this with only 1 difference. The center hole is a 1in bolt and not a 9/16th. But that can be easily fixed on the trailer.

  • Bushings Used with TruRyde Double-Eye Springs Equalizer TREQ105
The Never Fail Triple Axle Suspension Upgrade Hardware Kit # LC281288 that you referenced is designed to be used with the 6-3/4" long Equalizers # TREQ105. These equalizers feature standard nylon bushings # TRBU11566, so you will definitely want to replace them with the Never Fail bushings that come included with the upgrade kit to receive full benefit. The Never Fail bushings have an extra-durable polyamide construction that simply never wears out so you don't ever have to worry about...

  • How Is Never Fail Hardware Kit For Triple Axle Trailer Installed
I have attached a drawing of a typical triple-axle setup you can check out. I have noted the locations you would install the # LC281288 kit shackles, bolts, sleeves, and nuts. As you can see, one of the equalizers does not use a replacement set of shackles and that is why there are 22 bolts and nuts instead of 24. This kit is designed for use on triple-axle trailers with double-eye leaf springs that have 2 EQ-105 equalizers like part # TREQ105. If you do not have a suspension setup like...

  • Replacement Trailer Equalizer Kit for Equalizer that Measures 7-3/4 inches
For a cushioned set of equalizers that have 7-3/4 inches between the side holes we have the part # K71-653-00 which comes with new bolts, shackle straps, and bushings. The shackle straps of this kit are 2-1/4 inches from bolt hole center to bolt hole center. Or for a standard equalizer kit that is not cushioned we have the part # e99ZR. This also comes with bolts and shackle straps. This has 3-1/8 inches between shackle bolt hole centers.

  • Equalizer Recommendation for Triple Axle Trailer with Hanger Spacing of 29-1/2 inch
How long are you current equalizers? If the are 6-3/4 inch like the TREQ105 then there would be no need to move the hanger spacings. Most likely your hangers are spaced 7-3/4 inches based on the length of your springs and the current hanger spacings. You'd probably would be better off with a 7-3/4 inch equalizer like part # TREQE1 which is most likely a direct replacement.

  • Replacement Equalizers and Shackle Straps for 2007 Keystone Raptor 3712
Thank you for all of that excellent information and photos! To replace the front equalizer you need the Curved Equalizer # TREQ104 and then for the rear equalizer you need the Equalizer for 1-3/4" Wide Double-Eye Springs # TREQ105. To replace your 2-3/4" long shackle straps use part # TRSL275. While you're replacing everything it would be work swapping out your bolts as well. To do this you need a 9/16" diameter bolt that's 3" long like the Redline # 126B2. If you're looking to do an...

  • Direction of Equalizer # TREQ105 When Installed on Triple Axle Trailer
In the image with the suspension setup the equalizer # TREQ105 is placed between the front and second axles. Just like you have on your trailer. The front of the equalizer connects to the spring using a shackle strap and the rear is connected directly to the spring. As shown in the other image. It's possible you have your shackle bolts too tight which can cause binding. The bolts should be torqued to yield meaning you want them tight but not so tight that the equalizers cannot move.
