The shackle straps are twice the thickness of the straps that came on the RV and the wet bolts will be a great upgrade for the RV I haven't installed it yet, so I can't comment of the installation and ride. I will be installing this on my 5th wheel RV, triple axle.
I took a star off the review because of the packaging. These items come laid out on a piece of cardboard and then vacuum packed to the cardboard. When the item arrived, it was not packaged very well. All pieces had broken away from the packaging and were pretty much free floating in the box. Nuts had come off some of the bolts and the bronze bushings had fallen off. It doesn't look like the threads of the bolts were damaged. There was also one shackle strap that was missing from the package, only 5 were in the box.
I contacted etrailer support and Adam took care of this issue right away. He contacted MORyde and they are sending out the missing shackle strap. Hope to have it soon.
The overall quality is excellent. BUT, the kit is missing one bolt long enough for the cast iron side of the equalizer. (I had to reuse the old bolt). The bushings are oversized for most of the springs/equalizer. Some practically fell in while some mushroomed when pressed in.
Overall I’m not impressed with the application.

I bought my item and it was sent when you said you would ship it. The box arrived but it was empty. I called customer care and within 3 days I had my order in hand. Thanks for proving customer care is alive and well at eTrailer....
These seem to be working ok but do not appear to be designed for use with the HD upgraded Moryde greaseable shackle kit that I purchased with them . You can see in the photos that they rub and bind

I do have two recommendations for you. The first would be to make sure that the bolts are not over tightened. The locknuts should only be tight enough to limit as much movement as possible without binding anything up. The second recommendation is that Lippert makes that can be used with the Equa-Flex system. It is part # LC64FR. The shackle straps are less thick at 0.212 thickness however they are longer at 3 and one quarter inches.

Hi George. Thanks for checking on my suspension project. I installed the Morryde 3axle kit on my 45ft 3axle toy hauler that I have converted to a horse trailer. When turning tightly while parking, I noticed the axles shifting. The new Morryde system seems to have eliminated that problem. I enjoy the confidence of having all wet joints. Thanks for asking. This an upgrade I opted to do based on the thickness of these shackle straps along with the wet bolts/bushings. I prefer the wet kit.

The kit fit well and the shackle straps are definitely heavy duty. The suspension seams move better and returns to neutral alignment after tight turns.
Definitely much heavier than the OEM product. And the service from eTrailer was outstanding!
Disappointing. This Upgrade Kit specifically indicates it is compatible with triple axle trailers with 2-1/4" shackles and specifically mentions that is is compatible with EquaFlex. Turns out that the hangar bushings for EquaFlex are just slightly smaller so these bushings do not fit. Additionally, one of the bolt fittings on the equaflex require a longer wet bolt that is provided with this kit. I had to contact MorRyde directly and pay for additional bolts to complete this install -- and I still don't have new bushings in my middle hanger.

You mentioned that the bushings for the Equa-Flex are slightly smaller and I wanted to ask what the outer diameter of the bushings are.

Box of parts came damaged with pieces missing. Etrailer said they would send the correct replacement parts for what was missing, and then they didn't send the correct replacement parts. I have now been waiting to get my trailer back on the road for over 2 weeks while dealing with this mess. Parts are good quality and look like they will last if I can get the missing pieces.

I am sorry to hear that you are missing some parts. I have sent your information over to our customer service department for them to assist you in getting all of your missing items sent out to you.
It is a nice kit and certainly more robust than what was in place previously. However I recently used the zerk fittings and there were a few junctions where I could not push any grease through. I have since read to orient the bolts with the grease ports oriented horizontally as opposed to vertically to minimize/mitigate what I had experienced. I may have to pull the bolts from the few points where I could not get grease through and see about re-orienting. Overall it is a good product that I would recommend.
This kit does NOT include everything you need to upgrade your Grand Design triple axle trailer. It doesn't come with the two, 9/16 x 3-3/8 wet bolts to replace the dry ones on the back of the front equalizer. Ask my how I know that, Oh, my trailer is tore apart missing two wet bolts. You have to order them separately, to the tune of 26 bucks EACH, When the whole kit was only $[XX]. By the time you order them and two nuts, tax and shipping you've just added another $1[XX]. PLUS THE DOWN TIME! etrailer suggested I call MORryde and complain to them, and didn't OFFER me faster shipping, a discount or anything. Only after I asked did they say they would see what they could about speeding up the shipping. Kit wasn't missing any parts, just missing ALL the wet bolts you need to do the job which defeats the purpose.
Very satisfied with the quick delivery and packaging. I don’t normally do reviews. Only did it because etrailer cared enough to personally ask if I was satisfied.
Great upgrade item, easy to install. Will be an upgrade over original equipment, but packing is horrible. Good thing it wasn’t fragile parts.

These parts have been working great. Awesome upgrade to the stock shackles that came with the RV. Would recommend all RVs have this upgrade.
