Hello everybody, this is Jeff at eTrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this equalizer for three inch wide slipper springs. Now the equalizers are suspended from the center hanger on your trailer, and they serve as a link between the leaf springs on multi-axle trailers. These equalizers will swing front to back and transfer weight from one axle to another specifically when you drive over a bump and the transfer of weight will equalize the weight being carried by all the axles and allows for a nice, smooth transfer of the impact through the suspension system. Now, there is always one equalizer between two connecting springs in a multi-axle trailer system. This equalizer can be used on either the left or the right hand side of the trailer.
Now there are some critical dimensions you wanna be aware of. So on this one we're going to give you those. Overall length, which is from this edge to this edge, that's gonna be right at 18 and three eighths inches overall length. Inside width, as I mentioned they're designed to fit three inch wide slipper springs. So the inside dimension is three and one eighths inches.
Now the length from the center of the front bolt hole right up here at the bottom to the center of the middle bolt hole right here. So let's see if we get that on the center to center you can see it's gonna be right about six and three quarter inches. Now from the center of the middle bolt hole to the center of the rear bolt hole. That's gonna get you right at seven and one eighths inches. The diameter of the center bolt hole is one and one eighth inches.
The diameter on the front bolt hole down here is a half an inch. And the diameter on this rear bolt hole is one inch. But that should do it for the review on the equalizer for three inch Wide slipper springs..

work so well, I bought them 2 more times for other trailers
Ordered 2- 3” equalizers for Dexter axle. They shipped 1- 3” that was correct and in the same box 1 -2 1/2” that is significantly lighter and obviously different. Could have bought it elsewhere cheaper but I needed it fixed for next week. I guess that’s not gonna happen. Shipping was fast. And to be fair 2 1/2” equalizer has a 3” label on it, so not completely etrailers fault but sure doesn’t help me.
I will be buying more from your company
I am very pleased with the line of communication and updates

Our trailers are always on the move. the parts from Etrailer hold up as well or better than the OE parts.
