Replacement Shackle Strap - 3-1/8" Long

Good quality, arrive in a fair amount of time, good info on site for trailer owners. Bought shackles bushings and bolts for my dual axel bass boat trailer. Never new how bad they get, glad I checked it in the garage, rather than failed on the road.1513384

Straps seem to be good quality and fit just fine but came unpainted. I wasn't expecting them to be bare steel, but fortunately, I had a can of black Krylon. I'm only disappointed I had to delay the installation by about an hour to, clean, paint, and let dry. lost a star for no paint.1331629

These used to be galvanized however they now come with a bare steel metal finish. We do have other galvanized straps such as part # CE14103G which is 2.75 inches long, part # 18-11GALV which is 2.25 inches long and part # 115052GALV which is 2.62 inches long.

The springs installed easily and fit perfect. Shipping was early too. Great service.1689428

Shackles were just what I expected. Packaging was disappointing. Heavy package: 8 schackles, 8 bolts, 8 nuts, 8 bushings all in a brown enlelope, which couldn't hold the weight and tore open during shipping. Found half the bolts on the street near my mailbox. Luckily all parts are accounted for. Please box loose parts!1293615

The straps were lost out of the envelope the first time they were shipped. Received an empty envelope. Customer service was great and shipped the straps again. They were received.1638363

This shacle strap is exactly the same as the part being replaced. These worked as promised. Check out the photo and notice how bad the old hanger was!459604

One year later and still holding up well. Recently did a brake job and took the time to inspect the suspension work I did with etrailer's parts last Thanksgiving. Everything is in tip-top shape. I'd order from etrailer again because they make it easy to be certain you are getting the right parts.592632

The shackles are very heavy-duty and the holes fit a 9/16" bolt perfectly. Unfortunately the galvanize finish was extremely rough and varied from no coverage to very thick lumps. There were also very sharp-pointed protrusions of galvanize. I stripped the galvanize off with diluted muriatic acid in about 25 minutes. I then painted the shackles a satin black and they look awesome against gold-colored cadmium plated bolts, washers, and nuts. I'm very happy with the shackles and would suggest that primer or black paint be an option to the galvanize.722425

Ordered springs and u-bolts for a trailer I was repairing. When the package came it was missing parts because of USPS machines damaged it! Emailed etrailer about it and received the parts in two days! What a surprise, so glad I was able to get trailer back up and running!!419338
