Why Will the Draw-Tite # 75119 Not Fit on a 2003 Dodge Caravan with a Rear Stabilizer Bar

Why does the 75119 not work with a rear stabilizer bar? All these models of hitches appear to be the same size and install the same way.

Expert Reply:
According to my technical contact at Draw-Tite the # 75119 is not considered compatible with a 2003 Dodge Caravan models that have Stow and Go seating or vehicles that have a rear stabilizer bar. This hitch requires 3 mounting locations, and most likely the forward most mounting hole would interfere with the vehicle stabilizer bar.
However the Draw-Tite # 36296, is a more compact hitch and only requires 2 mounting bolt locations. If you do have the Stow and Go seating or a vehicle stabilizer bar this more compact hitch would work for you.
