distance between holes om tail light bracket are wider than the threaded posts on the light. I will make it work.
Looks like good quality I haven't installed them yet.

i found the tail lights i needed at a very reasonable price. I compared with outher outlets and saved money. i recommend Etrailer for your all your trailer supplies.

Installation went well and lights have performed fine after 1 year. A suggestion for future purchasers: I did not drill light assembly grounding wire screw holes into my freshly painted trailer. Instead, since the light mounting studs were ample length, I attached each light ground wire to a light mounting stud with a double nut and ran a ground wire from this stud to the same mounting stud on the other light. Then I ran another ground wire from a light mounting stud to the front of the trailer where I connected it to the ground wire of the connector. This way there is no future corrosion problems that occurs with ground wire screw holes drilled thru the frame paint.

Lights are still working fine.
This light appears to be a direct replacement for my defective trailer light that fits into a round steel sleeve on my utility trailer. I appreciate etrailer's excellent product descriptions and helpful tips. Install should be a breeze.
First I want to say that this order was of great importance to me because my Dad needed it for a trailer he purchased. He and I searched high and low and could not find tail lights that had a small enough diameter to fit in the pockets designed on the trailer. So I widened my search and happened across Etrailer.com. They had exactly what I was looking for and the price was what I thought to be very low and even though I ordered them on a national holiday they shipped the same day and were delivered before I expected. I decided to look around their website since I am a cattle farmer and more than often need parts, to my delight, they have about everything I might need so I will be shopping here again...

Still working great, haven’t even had to replace a light bulb.
My utility trailer was beginning to look like Johnny Cash's Cadillac. It had tail lights from boats, wrecked cars, anything that would blink or light up. I found etrailer on line and not

Working great, no longer trembling when law enforcement gets behind me.
Needed to replace lights on my 25+ year utility trailer. Purchased two of these lights for both left hand and right hand since I don't have need for a license plate light. Exact replacement for my old lights except body of new lights is plastic, which in my opinion is better since the metal body of the old lights rusted out. Prompt delivery.

It is working perfectly.
After shopping carefully, I chose the Peterson Trailer Round Tail light because it was 3 3/4 inches wide, perfect for my 4' x 6' utility trailer. The lens cap has two retaining screws which prevent easy losses when accidentally bumped. The wires exit the rear surrounded in molded soft plastic, otherwise an easy target for fraying wires. I was suitably impressed with the durability of the light that I have now installed a set on my 16' flat bed trailer. From experience, bigger lights attract more damaging bumps.
I got the round 431800 & 432000 for a 4x6 ft trailer. I had to mount them at 90 degrees from horizontal in order to light the license plate. The 432000 is designed for the license plate to be under the light. I sent an email to etrailer asking if they would let rain water in when mounted this way. They responded in about a week & said they would be fine. Well, they are not fine. Both will let rain water in when mounted this way as the drain hole is now on the side instead of bottom! I tried to caulk the holes, but caulk does not stick to the plastic. I used tape inside the housing with caulk sticking to it. Not sure how well that will work. I drilled new drain holes in the bottom. I replaced the lens screws with SS ones. I kept these only because I could not find anyone else selling them. They work, but my old ones had the clear lens welded to the housing and could be mounted anyway. These are cheap and the clear lens is snapped in with lots of gaps for water to come in. Not real happy with the results.
Easy to order and easy and simple to install with 2 ire connection that fit my trailer wiring perfectly; would buy from E-Trailer again

The distance between the mounting bolts center to center is two inches which is very common however there are alot of trailer manufacturers out there so there really is not a standard to go by. There is another option with part # ST20RS. The center to center distance is still two inches however it has grooves built in so that there is some adjustability vertically which can help depending on your trailer.
