Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the etrailer Pre-Torqued Ball Mount for a two inch hitch receiver. Has a two in five 16th inch diameter ball and it offers a two inch drop or a three quarter inch rise. Does have a 7,500 pound gross towing weight capacity. Now this heavy duty ball mount will provide you everything you need to embark on your towing journey with confidence. This ball mount will let you hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle.

Basically, the shank portion right here is what'll slide into your vehicle's two inch hitch receiver. And this ball mount does offer a two inch drop if it's flipped over, a three and a quarter inch rise. And those measurements are measured from the top of the shank to the top of the ball platform. So like it is now in the drop position, you can see if we put a ruler on it to the top of the shank, is gonna be right at two inches for the drop. Now if you turn it over and change the ball around and put it in the rise position, if you measure from top of the shank, top of the ball platform, it gives you about a three quarter inch rise.

Now the ball on this, it is a two in five 16th diameter hitch ball. This will provide the connection point for your trailer's coupler. If you notice, the ball is already installed and it is pre-torqued to factory specs in the drop position. So if you do happen to use this in the rise, you do have to loosen it and re-torque it into the rise position. It does come with this included five eights inch diameter pin aim clip and it is designed to fit tightly in the hitch pin hole to minimize rattle.

It is a sturdy steel with a rust-resistant finish. The ball mount itself is a matte black powder coat over an e-coat on the ball mount. And if you look at the ball, it's a really nice finish on it. It is a black nickel plated hitch ball and they even plate the pin and the clip in the same matching black nickel finish. Application again fits two inch by two inch trailer hitch receiver.

Gross towing weight capacity is 7,500 pounds. Tongue weight capacity of 750 pounds. And the last measurement I wanna give you is the ball mount length and that's gonna be measured from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole. So again, if we get our ruler out here, and if we try to, let me just hold it here onto the center, to the center is eight inches.
