Is It Okay to Have Ball Mount 1" Off of Towing Trailer Level
Question:
The measurement from the inside top of my receiver is 17inch And when level unloaded my 5x10 trailer is 16inch to the bottom of the coupler. I have a 2inch drop ball mount, will this be ok? I know a 1inch drop would be perfect but I dont think there is any that I can find Thanks

Thanks for reaching out, Michael!
As long as you're within 1" of being level you'll be just fine.
I will say that in your case I'd recommend picking up a 0 drop ball mount like the Flint Hill Goods Tri-Ball Mount # FHG62VR so you're 1" above what you need rather than 1" below. Reason being that when you couple up to the trailer your vehicle ball mount will naturally squat just a little so if you're 1" above what you need, it will help level things out a little once everything is hooked up.
