Hasp works with a staple (sold separately) to secure doors, gates, and lids. Mounting hardware can be hidden beneath hasp arm to prevent tampering. Electropolished stainless steel construction is corrosion resistant. Padlock sold separately.
Features:
Specs:
This hasp can be installed so that the arm folds over the mounting plate. When mounted this way, there is no access to the mounting hardware when the hasp is closed and locked. This means that the hardware can't be tampered with to remove the hasp.
If more length is needed, the hasp can be opened and installed with the mounting plate visible.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the panel lock hasp. Now a hasp can be used for a variety of applications. This would be great for trailers, gates, sheds and many other uses. It does feature the five hole mounting plate and those holes are beveled. That way if you use that tapered flat head screw, it'll sit flush with that mounting plate, which is a really neat clean finish look and design. Mounting hardware's not included.
The unit is made from a stainless steel construction. It's going to feature an electro polished finish. It's going to do great at resisting rust and corrosion, lasting a long time. Some measurements to go over with you real quick, starting with the overall length. Measuring edge to edge it's going to measure 8 and 3/4 of an inch long. Measuring just this portion here.
Actually if we fold it over like this, measuring from the back of the pin to the end of the unit, it's going to be about 6 and 1/4 inches long. The width is one and 7/8 of an inch. The pin that it uses has a diameter of 3/16 of an inch. Then the plate thickness is 7/64 of an inch. Elongated hole right here this would allow the staple to come through, that's going to give us a measurement of an inch and a quarter by 3/8 of an inch wide. Staple and lock are sold separately.
You can find those at etrailer.com. The mount holes on the unit, these are all going to have a diameter of a quarter of an inch. Then that mounting plate measures one and 7/8 of an inch by 2 and a half inches long. That's going to do it for today's look at the panel lock hasp.
