Video Transcript for Paneloc Enclosed Trailer Parts - Doors - H135-203E Review

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Paneloc Hasp. A hasp can be used for a variety of applications. This would be great for trailers, gates, sheds, and many other uses. It's going to feature a three hole mounting plate. Now, mounting hardware is not included. The unit is made from an electro-polished stainless steel construction.

It's very strong and durable and it's going to resist rust and corrosion. Taking a few measurements, starting with the overall length. Measuring edge to edge, that's going to give us a measurement of about 4 13/16-inch. Measuring from basically just this area right here, that's going to give us a measurement of about 3 3/4-inch. The width is an inch and a half. The pin that it uses has a diameter of 3/16-inch.

The elongated hole has a side to side opening measurement of 3/8-inch and a length measurement of an inch and a quarter. The mounting holes on this unit all have a diameter of 1/4-inch and they're beveled, so that way the mounting hardware lays flush with that plate. That mounting plate is going to give us a measurement of an inch and a half. If we measure from this corner here to the end, that's going to give us a measurement of about 1 1/16-inch. That's going to do it for today's look at the Paneloc Hasp..

  • Cargo Trailer Side Door Locking Hasp
You need a sliding bolt door latch with lock. We do not have that exact item. the closest thing we can offer is the JR Products # 37220645 Door Bolt, but this does not have a locking mechanism, so you would have to additionally install a hasp like the Paneloc # H135-203E stainless steel hasp.

  • Can't Remove Broken Key fro Thule Cargo Box. What Now?
Thule unfortunately doesn't offer the cylinder or sleeve the lock core sits in as a replacement part. If the cylinder hasn't been damaged, there's a chance a locksmith could carefully drill the lock core out, because if that cylinder is damaged, there's not much that can be done other than using a couple of padlocks, hasps # H135-203E and # H115-204E staples to secure the box. It isn't a pretty solution, but it's less expensive than a new Thule cargo box.

  • Hasp Replacement for Enclosed Cargo Trailer Cam Door Lock
We offer two Paneloc lock hasps that are 1-1/2-inches wide, parts # H145-203E and # H135-203E, both of which are shown on the linked page. We also offer cam door latches like 2-inch # PLR158-102-A and # PLR158-102-SS, as well as 1-inch hasps like # 158-101, but not one that is 1-1/2-inches.
