Four stars because the locks were dead bolt locks and the edge cover plates covered the dead bolts. The mounting screws were too short and I had to re-use the old locks screws. However, I called them and talked to someone and they corrected the order with the proper plates sent to me.
Wish it was metal not plastic like the original one ,but really the only thing I would change if I had to pick one thing would be a bigger gap between door and handle on the inside latch my fingers fits tighter than I like when pulling the door closed. Other than that the fit and finish is is as good as the original that I had to replace because of someone breaking into my camper.

Lock was easy to install and works well
It was an exact replacement of the lock that came on the trailer so it was easy to replace. The original lock dead bolt quit working with the key on outside. The trailer has very little use and is like new so will see how the new lock performs. The customer service was excellent and it was shipped to me faster than I expected. I will definitely be using etrailer again!

I ordered two RV door latches. When they arrived there was only one set of hardware for the latches (Screws & strike plates). I contacted etrailer and the hardware was sent within a few days.

My only complaint about this product is that the main body of the lock is made of plastic, which makes me wonder about it's longevity. That was something that was not listed in it's description. The original equipment that this replaced, was made of metal. Other than that, I feel it is a good product. Only time will tell.
Excellent service! Very Quick. Lots of pictures and helpful videos for installation procedures. Made it quite easy. Took all of about 15 minutes to install. Worked perfectly the first time. I used it to replace a faulty door lock system on my travel trailer. When it arrived I was impressed by the heavy quality of the Bauer door lock. I would recommend etrailer.com to anyone without hesitation!
Great replacement locks; fit well, easy install and they out perform the locks that came with our Kodiak Ultimate trailer. I particularly like that all the keys were keyed the same, now we have backup keys.

This door latch performs and fits as original. I suspect it will be equal in terms of longer performance.
